My CEA has also come down from 26 (in the begining) to 13 on 1st.

Neuro Endocrine Tumour
I am diagnoised with Neuro Endocrine Tumour (Rectal Colon Cancer). I have been given Capacitabine tablets and Proton Radiation for 25 quarters. Now I am waiting to be given Chemo injections.
Is Capacitabine and Proton Radiation not enough to kill cancer cells. Can I check my cancer position and then go for Chemo injections.

Concerned for possible HLH
This must be the most wierdest question here as it is not actually about myself but I may be affected.
So here it is Iam about go get married to a girl 23Yrs old who says she doesn't have any medical history my only concern is that her parents are cousins and she has a younger brother who is 9 yrs younger to her and was diagnosed with HLH few years back and subsequently got treated for it and now doing fine. I have read HLH in children is mostly familial and inherited from parents and there are 25% chances of sibling being carrier's😕.
Now this makes me think and concerned that my so to be wife can also be a carrier thus
putting our future child at risk. Iam not sure whether Im suppose to worry about it or not.
I can surely use an experts opinion on this.
Much appreciate.

NeuroEndocrinetumour Colon rectal cancer
Sir, Chemo Radiation of Capacitabine tablets and Proton Radiation is finished at Apollo Proton Care, Velachery Chennai for Neuro Endocrine Tumour (Colon Rectal Cancer)
Now Chemo has to start. She has been asked to wait for 3 weeks for radition effect (soft skin) to go.
My query is what will happen now - with no radiation or capacitabine tablets. Will cancer cells grow or continue to die or remain at a level.
Her CEA has fallen from 26 to 13.
