Bone & Muscle problems

Thumb of my left hand got injured couple of months ago while playing cricket when the ball hit the thumb. Pain is not gone yet. It really hurts when the thumb is bent all of a sudden also the lower joint of the thumb hurts. Please suggest something useful.

Hello Doctor, I recently had a rib pain in my left side and it became severe when I cough or sneeze. I visited my doctor he gave some pain reliving medicine and ultra ca+ twice daily for one month. I'm little worried that ultra ca+ twice a day is too much. Since started the medication I experience frequent urination. Is it normal or it's cause of concern? Is taking ultra ca+ twice daily for one month ok or I need to reduce my dose ?

I am suffering from heel pain on left leg since 3-4 months. Heel pain is unbearable in the morning just after getting out of the bed. After few steps it gets reduced slightly. Test results , Glucose fasting - 83 Uric Acid - 6.0 RF/RA factor- < 8.4 Hemoglobin- 13.3 WBC- 5.0 RBC - 4.38 Consulted Orthopaedic , he said it's Planter Fasciitis and advised X-Ray and some blood test. X-Ray is normal. Prescribed some medicines but it did work. Then I consulted one Physiotherapist, he said it's Retrocalcaneal Bursitis, he did some treatment but it also not worked and there is no relief of morning pain We are doing some excercise also but stopped walking to avoid the increase of heel pain. Please suggest what to do and whom to consult.

Since last two days started having right anterior hip pain on certain movements like external rotation ( butterfly pose) .Pain is sharp which limits my mobility on these movements. Also while doing hip rotation at right side I am having same sharp pain. Not sure what could be the reason of this sudden pain.

Hello doctor.. As few months ago my leg was twisted during play.. while doctor examination my leg was locked while moving my tibia bone... and I undergone MRI...it shows that i had an partial tear in ACL and an medial meniscus damage..an grade 2 tear...while i have an locking of knee while sitting down i decided to go for surgery...but my surgeon repaired meniscus and anchored that.. but ACL was not repaired.. he said that after while examining inside OT my acl was tear but it was not about to repair...so ACL was not reconstructed and meniscus only repaired..is that ok to sustain with that partial torn ACL... kindly give an consult..thank you

Dear Doctors What test should be done for foot pain?? Wearing soft chappal but still its paining little bit when I do exercise. Please suggest me. What test??

Female/33/45k I had foot pain in both foot and heels so consulted to doctor and identified as plantar fascitis. Below treatment followed:   -Tablet Rutoheal-D 1-1-1 7 days -Tablet Tendofit Forte 1-1-1 15 days -Solution Dynapar QPS -Solution Alchohol 1-1-1 7 days -Vit D3 60k Weekly one for three months -Ice and heat formation on foot three times a day since last 40 days. -Physical exercise suggested by physio since last 40 days three times a day. After this treatment the continuous pain went away but if i stand more (30 minutes) and do more activities pain gets start. Also small fluid filled near ankle since last 20 days which is not getting improved after ice and heat formation and excercise. How bursitis can be treated in this case? Will it take time or something else need to be added in treatment. Is it permanent?

My mother is diabetic though her sugar levels are currently controlled , she is experiencing minor swallow feet and not able to walk properly. Help me pls.
