1) Marrow edema manifesting as hyperintense signal on T2 and PDFS images at medical aspect of medical femoral condyle suggestive of contusion.
2) Mild joint effusion.
My doctor has suggested me to just rest and wear a knee brace whenever I have the need to walk. I want a second opinion on the same.

ACL Injury
Hi, Assalamu 'alaikum. My brother-in-law, Asib, have been suffering from a right knee pain intermittently with a sign of bending outward for a long time. When it turned more painful, in November 2016, we consulted with an orthopaedic surgeon. As per his suggestion an MRI diagnosis was undergone which suggests 1. Partial interstitial tear of ACL, 2. Discoid lateral meniscus with Grade III tear, 3. Meniscal contusion at posterior horns of medial meniscus and 4. Moderate joint effusion. Following the report, knee specialists advised for ACL surgery.
But, there is a major problem underlying in the process: MRI in Bangladesh is not reliable. The suspicion increases when we see the patient, Asib, playing almost all day long without complaining. Moreover, the doctors are also suspicious about the report, though their experiences suggested that he go through operation.
We don't want to take any risk as he is very young and active.
From where and how can we get a reliable MRI?

Knee cap dislocation acl
I have dislocated my knee cap while dancing. This was before 4 months. The first two months I wore a knee immobilizer. The next two months I went through physiotherapy to regain my range of motion. I have shifted from wearing a knee immobilizer to ROM knee brace. I slowly progressed from 45° to 120°of bending my knee .I consulted a doctor and he claimed that i had an acl tear by analyzing the MRI scan. He told me to wear an Rom knee brace and walk with the help of a single cruch. It has been a month since then. I am not able to understand wether I need to undergo a surgery. My doctor even suggested me that, since my range of motion is 120° you may not need a surgery. What should I do now?. I really want to get back to sporting activity. How should I proceed.? Thanks for your answer!
