Dear client solutions are relatively permanent even the best cannot be assured of revision. Well i believe if you have OA knee and you are over weight need to work on simultaneously. Other wise for other knee related issues if you have taken proper physiotherapy for 15-20 days is fine enough to keep you off pain for more than 1-2yrs unless you really do some thing very wrong.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello dear, Firstly get check for reason of pain at knee joint by ORTHO or Physio. If it's osteoarthritis then you can start with Physiotherapy and once pain is relieved start with all strengthening exercises for knee joint. Learn it properly from Physiotherapist and do those exercises regularly i.e daily without any gap.. your pain will get permanent relief. If you have severe arthritis of knee joint just get proper check with ORTHO or Physio who will guide you fr precautions and DOS Nd don't for osteoarthritis of knee joint. You can go for hot water fermentation, then start with basic knee exercises if pain is mild. But if pain is severe then take few Physiotherapy sessions and then start with. Exercises one pain is better.
Next Steps
Certain precautions you should follow: like avoid squatting, cross leg sitting, using Indian toilet. And start exercise regularly once Pain is relieved.
