All of sudden I have a pain in my back. It starts from center heading till lower back. Also while sitting have strain in legs. Do I need to get mri to find out whether it's a symptom of slipped disk.. Can I use hot pad and then ointment

I am suffering from knee pain from last 1 and half year and now at sometimes shoulders,elbow,wrist and leg fingers are paining.I did test of uric acid,anti CCP,HLA-B27 typing on June 2017 and CRP,CBC with ESR on Dec 2016 but in report every thing looks normal. So now tell me what I need to do.I consulted reumotologist and show my all reports.he says me your report looks normal no to worry. But I think the Symptoms​ looks like RA or OA.Whether I need to do all the test  again.
