I have pain in my finger which is not continuous pain. I feel a wave of pain then it vanishes.

Dear I think you have a finger problem and it needs detailed evaluation and imaging to come to a diagnosis. Once diagnosis we can treat it accordingly. Most probably you have a ligament sprain and give some rest and avoid anything that gives you pain. We have successfully treated many patients like you with ESWT.
