Can her exposed tooth root be cured at home ? She brushes regularly and has never had dental problems. What treatment do you suggest ?

I have had a root canal procedure performed on one of my tooth 3 years back and now I am experiencing pain of that tooth since 2 days. Please suggest the medicine for that.

I have a Root Canal Treatment scheduled in a few days. My menstrual cycle is also supposed to start at the exact same time. I have been having bad breath problem for a long time now. I am unable to understand the root cause of it. I have right  ear pain , jaw pain under the ear with swelling for a month. It's like throbbing pain on upper and lower jaw. Sore and scratching like pain sometimes.kind of burning sensation under the ear where the jaw ends.i have swelling from mid of mouth to jaw end. Right lower end. Dentist said I might have a crack on lower first molar. That tooth is very cold sensitive too.he said I have to do RCT or extraction. Does it really cause jaw swelling and pain?
