Mother has multiple gallstones largest measuring 8.5 mm.. It pains once or twice daily.. She eats oil free meals at fixed time daily.. Eats Udiliv twice daily.. Still why does it pain? Her operation will be in October.. Till then how to manage pain? Please help...

I am having pantocid 40 mg twice a day. I have noticed from 2 days my pulse rate increasing after taking pantocid. Is it because more gas in accumulating in chest. Im also feeling gas moving in chest. Should I discontinue pantocid 40 mg.
