I am a patient o IBS for nearly8-10yrs.I am going under a natural supplement program for the same for past 3 months.Though I was going fine but recently have been through a phase where I am having mild stomach aches and foamy stools with liquid consistency.This has happed back in mid May also. I went to gastroenterologist today and she said I have CIC and gave syp lactihep plus and laxopeg. She said I should be able to pass stools everyday , And if I face difficulty i should have the medicine she prescribed. I feel it is not possible passing stools everyday I have constipation for the past 15yrs and also got sigmoidoscopy done 10yrs back which was normal. Now after changing my diet I'm passing stools once every 3 days. Is it normal?
