Pain in upper left abdominal
Hello My husband is 36 years old and he is having pain in upper left side of abdomen when he eats some oily food. He is also having burping issues along with this. One more thing is that if he goes to poop 3-4 times a day only once some red blood shoes up in poop. Not very red like one little drop of blood.only once a day. If he eats light food..dal chawal chapati with no oil and fruits ...then there is no such issue of burping or pain . He consulted a gastrologist on 14th jan 2025. I want to take a second opinion about what it exactly is since i am little worried for the same.

Most likely it's due to gastritis or functional dyspepsia.an abdominal ultrasound scan may help to determine the cause. As he is aware of the food triggering his symptoms,he should avoid those foods.
