Skin, Hair and Nail Problems

Hi, I have molluscum contagiosum and currently on my left shoulder and nearby areas. A dermatologist suggested removing the lesions, but mentioned that if they reappear, I may need to undergo removal again. I have also used tretinoin cream, but I haven't seen much improvement. Is there any long-term or more permanent treatment option available for molluscum contagiosum? What would you recommend to reduce the chances of recurrence?

Hello doctor I am 30 year female recently I got white patches in around lips my doctor told me it's vitiligo he's prescribed me tacroz forte first one week ok no problem but after that I feel tightness around the lips and around the lips skin will be peeling please tell me what to do this cream make this symptoms let me know please.

Hello Doctor, I am an 18-year-old male with gradual hair thinning for the past few years. Hair fall is usually less than 50 hairs per day but occurs during bathing and combing. My hair has become thinner, especially around the front hairline/temples. I also have dandruff with white and yellow flakes, occasional itching, and mild scalp redness. Ketoconazole shampoo has helped but not completely. My CBC, Ferritin, Vitamin B12, Folate, Vitamin D, and Thyroid tests are normal. Could this be seborrheic dermatitis, early male pattern hair loss, telogen effluvium, or a fungal infection? What further tests or treatment would you recommend? I have attached photos. Thank you.

My son has suffered from oil burn in his back,now the burned area has Keloid...Is there any treatment to flatten the skin? Any suggestions?

I was experiencing hair fall while living in Kolkata, so I consulted a dermatologist through Practo. She advised a few blood tests and then prescribed Minoxidil along with Vitamin D3 and other supplements. Recently, I moved to Delhi, and since then my hair fall has increased significantly. I am noticing visible thinning, and my hair condition has become much worse compared to before. I have also started getting pimples. As I am already using Minoxidil and taking the prescribed supplements, I would like to know what could be causing this sudden increase in hair fall and what steps I should take next.

Hello Doctors, 6 years back I had fungal infection on my left hand, I consulted dermatologist that time he has prescribed many medicines including steroids, after complete recovery of fungal infection I got polymorphic light eruption and I strongly suspect it happens because of use of that steroids. Since last 6 years I am facing this issue. Temporary solutions are available like use of sunscreen, use full sleeve clothes but any permanent solution for this ? Internet says some better solutions available like use of vitamin b3 and polypodium leucotomos. Will this help me ?

Increased hair fall for the past 2 months. Hair sheds while combing, washing, and throughout the day. I have noticed thinning/reduced hair density. There is no is itching. Dandruff is not heavily present.  I would like to know the possible cause and treatment options.

My mother is 57 years old and has diabetes. She has severe scalp itching with heavy dandruff/flaky skin. Due to constant scratching, sometimes blood and clear fluid come out. The itching is worse at night and affects her sleep. She was diagnosed with scalp eczema, but multiple medications have not provided significant relief. Please re-evaluate her condition and advise the best treatment. Photos are attached.

Ot red around cheeks ,my doc adviced physiogel lotion, and medicated soap..after that I find no use and I went to another clinic she said that I have sun burn  from that developed openpores  as my skin is very oily .then she adviced acutane 5 mg dose!  Itiderm And serum Should I start using acutane,im confused

Hi sir/mam, My mother and grandmother had same problem in age 35 till whole life of unexplained itching ..during my first pregnancy at age 25 severe itching whole body , not Able to wear clothes, and whenever I take roti , it worsen , diagnosed with thyroid function... liver function test was normal...then after pregnancy I stop taking thyroid tablets... Problem solved till 2 years , again in second pregnancy same problem happened, prescribed by doctor citrazine but no results ...now after pregnancy also it get worsen , eczema 2 week course of tablets I had taken and also halbetasol and mometosone I have applied with blastine but no more effective .. itching aisi hoti h jese cheete chal ri h puri body me..ek bhi acne ya daane nhi h...bss itching h... moisturizer bhi apply kia...koi bhi redness ya daane nhi h...fir bhi even face pe bhi itni itching hai...
