Fungal infections on the neck are common, especially in humid weather and with sweating. Usually presents as discoloured, scaly, itchy patches (tinea corporis or tinea versicolor). Antifungal cream works well.
Next Steps
Apply clotrimazole 1% or luliconazole cream twice daily for 3â4 weeks. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid tight collars. If no improvement in 2 weeks, consult me on Practo for a prescription of oral antifungals.
