My son who has  celebral palsy is bed written.he recently got a bed sore which kept on increasing even though l was applying sucocrem.

My lips feel sandpaper like and looks like small scratches at some areas sometimes.Especially cold climate.It will disappear its own after few days.When i touch there with tongue it feels like sand.What is this?Is it common?Please reply.
