Skin, Hair and Nail Problems

I do have some dandruff for which I am seeking treatment. Comedones keep appearing on my forehead and now it's been a month there's sudden flare up. I am using Kaya salicylic acid face wash and Kaya non comedogenic moisturiser. I have sensitive and combination skin. A dermatologist has suggested retino AC gel and acnemoist cream. I haven't used a retinol yet hence the second thoughts on starting the treatment. Please guide me through. Thank you.
