Hi, I have oily acne prone skin and get acne frequently. Recently got some allergy kind of acne on all over my face with small bumps and lots of whiteheads. Have consulted for it and following the medication. Now one doctor prescribed to apply Minoz BPO gel for night and wash my face after 30 mins. (It burns a little while applying)Another doctor said to wash face after 1 hour. Later I consulted for different things but asked opinion for this as well. SoThird doctor was saying Benzoyl peroxide based gel is not at all good for face. It should be for body. For face Tretinoin 0.05% cream is better and to wash face with soap after 1 hour. One more doctor also suggested Tretinoin 0.04% for night. But said, no need to wash face. Let it be there for whole night. Now it's very confusing. Benzoyl peroxide based cream is better or Tretinoin based for face ? Do I need to keep it for whole night or wash after 1 hour ? Please help.

Hi, I have oily acne prone skin and get acne frequently. Is it okay to use a substitute cream of the same composition for skin treatment. Like 1. Instead of Minoz BPO gel (ADAPALENE 0.1%+BENZOYL PEROXIDE 2.5%) I am using Adapure gel with same composition manufactured by A.S Life sciences 2. Instead of Sotret 20 capsule (Isotretinoin 20 mg), I got Isotrenol 20 with same composition from Knoll healthcare pvt ltd 3. Instead of Glocin Gel (CLINDAMYCIN 1%W/W+NICOTINAMIDE 4%W/W) I got Acnesol-NC with same composition from Mepromax Life sciences. 4. Instead of Retino A (Tretinoin 0.05 %) or Tretin 0.05% I got Tronin 0.05% with same composition from Skin care division TALENT INDIA, Which ones of above are fine to use. Will these substitute gave same effect. Also do we need to was face with soap after 1 hour of applying Tretinoin 0.05 % cream . Please advise. Thanks in advance.
