I have acne and pigmentation on the skin! Doctor gave docydin LB everyday to eat and isotretinoin for sat and sunday! Will these medicine make changes to my skin?

I have acne since last 9-10yrs and now my skin has a lot of acne marks and PIH from prev acne.. i had tried tretinoin cream but wasn't really effective made my skin dull and drier and nothing. Improved.. last year i went onto a Dermat and he finally suggested me to consume Isotretinoin.. i completed the course buy yet i get small one or two pimple here and there any random day!! My face still looks dull and dehydrated.. I'm thinking of applying cosrx snail mucin at night and niacinamide/ vitamin c in the morning...
