Skin, Hair and Nail Problems

I got this infection in my college time in my inner thigh region nearly 4 years ago. It seemed like it was improving over time after a couple of consultations from a local dermatologist. But recently it has again started bothering me, it was never completely healed because I did not follow the medication properly. The area has darkened in colour and is kind of slightly slimy in nature compared to normal skin around that area. I want to get rid of this. Could you please suggest something.
