Since last 2 years i am missing my periods continously and they delay by 2-3 months.Everytime i got scared. I visited a gyanec, she advised me to take contraceptive pills i.e hervote. Whenever i take it i got my periods within 20 days. I dont knw it is safe or not. After sometime we are planning for family.. Are these pills safe for me..please advise ... will follow

I am having irregular menstrual cycle from past 6-7 months and when I get my periods then also very less bleeding is happening that too only for 2-3 days. What could be the reason and treatment for this.

I have PCOD and have been taking 'yamini' medicine for close to 5 yrs to have regular periods. I am not sure if I should be taking a medicine for his long or not and if I discontinue, will my periods still be normal. Also, is any test required to check the level of PCOD at regular intervals? How majorly does PCOD affect my life?

I have a PCOD.my periods comes aft 6 months or 3-4 months later.I did yoga once n I got my chumps .bt then I stop doing yoga .I didn't get my chumps in this month. I got chumps in Nov 2015.last time after yoga i got it on 15th March 2016.please suggest me what I have to get rid of this pcod. Any special treatment or should I continue with yoga ?

Suffering from pcod .. taking norm-oz tablet since 3 months and 21 days of pill to regularize the period ... too much of water retention ... not yet got my periods yet suppose to get today itself and the flow is very little ... feel my self very heavy

I m a pcos patient... i m a married girl & taking birth control pills ( diane 35) for 1yr ... now a days i have seen that i m gaining weight about 10 kgs.. quantity of my period is decreasing month by month.. now a days i change my birth control pill (crizanta), so please tell me is this birth control pills r responsible for gaining my weight??

I have this problem for 4-5 years now. when ever i am on medication then my periods happen otherwise it stops. I used to take Krimson 35 for 2-3 years. when i stopped, then i dont get my periods anymore. Although i am 84 kilos, i need to shed 20 kilos i understand. but isnt there any permanent solution to this problem ?

I have irregular periods since I started having them. Some time I dnt get it for 3-6mnths n some time if it starts it does not end for 20-30 days. And dat 20-30 days have more than heavy periods which drain all my blood. I have consulted gynaec. Many times but they says that everything is normal, This is happening bcz of hormonal changes. Last time wen I had my periods in September for constant 20 days, I get sonography done and doctor told me dat every thing is normal.. Just swollen uterus..nothing to worry about.. I read abt PCOS on internet.. Am I having same problem ? Will I face trouble in conceiving ? Please guide me.

Hello.. My pcos treatment is going on from fortis hospital, mohali, since 5 years. I just wanna to know that for how long medication continues and is there any another solution.

Hi,  I m detected with PCOS as per my sonography reports,  same confirmed by my gynec.  However my blood tests show my fasting glucose to insulin ratio to be around 9.1 Its been around 6 months the ratio is not reducing. My gynec has suggested to wait till the ratio falls to 4.5 before starting the medication. However i m experiencing a lot of problems like weight gain and facial hair. I wanted to ask if it is wise to wait till the ratio falls to 4.5 or can the medication be started before that happens and will it havr any kind of side effects. Please help
