My child  had suffered from cold and cough.doctor has prescribed kofover for cough and histafree and fexinex-DS for cold.still she has light cold and cough.can ascoril expectorant can be given for 4 yrs child and kindly prefer dosage for syrup

My son is 04 months old and was born in 32 weeks with 1kg LBW. Last Thursday he had 102 fever new it's some what normal but still having dry cough and not take enough milk and not laughing so tired. Doctor given syrups and nebulizer too. But need suggestion for any home remedies alongside we can do.
