All food can be given, there is no evidence for any restriction of any food. If you feel that a particular food makes cough, cold worse then you can avoid it temporarily. Children should be exposed to types of fruits early in life including fruits, vegetables . After 2 years it becomes difficult to introduce new foods. It is not necessary to give nutritional supplements without advice of a doctor.
