My niece Is 1year old baby she is having cough Running nose fever doctor prescribed cough syrup and fever calpol for every 6 hours since form 5 days she is having fever it is showing 101 temperature what to do

My nephew is 3 years old.He is having cough and cold since 3 to 4 days.In every few minutes he sneezes and a lot of mucus comes out.He also has cough since 3 to 4 days .Doctor has given Sinarest and Azee Dry Syrup as medication.Are these medicines ok??He started taking these medications since yesterday night.How long will it take for him to recover?
