I am having cough post viral from 3 weeks. Tried multiple Medicines with pulmonologist, admitted for 3 days still same. Finally my ears also chocked and one eardrum got ruptured. With ENT help I am recovering with ear but cough still persist. Did oscillatory test, chest xray. Seems ok. Any suggestions??

My father is 74 years old and at times he has dry cough which takes longer time to cure. In the past doctor had prescribed tablet Montas-FX & Acebrophylline sustained release 200 mg.
