Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Dear doctors, Today in the morning I was cleaning my mouth and I coughed hard to clean my mouth, in the process I could see the blood in my spit. Its clotted blood with thick red in color. When I coughed more, more blood is coming, it was not the same yesterday. Why is this happened? What's the reason? I had my last meal yesterday at midnight due to my work. And tell me why am I coughing blood in the morning?

My wife is in her 18th week of pregnant, and has a dry cough running. We have visited 2 doctors with one being an internal medicine expert and the other a pulmonologist but there is no improvement. The cough is very heavy in mornings and evenings during the sunset time. Nebulization is being done 2 times a day with Foracort 0.5 mg repsules. Yesterday night she was coughing almost the whole night. Looking for some help with the problem.

My 11 year old daughter started her menses last Friday (today is 30 June 2018). The previous weekend she began to cough up blood and it subsided. We have now been in hospital for over a week and she is still coughing up blood. Her menses has stopped. She has had a gastroscope, bronchoscope, CT scan, blood tests every day and EVERYTHING has come back negative and shows her to be in perfect health!!!! YET STILL she coughs up bright red blood. HELP PLEASE!!!!

I've been coughing for 2 weeks now. Its mostly just the dry cough. I don't have any cold. But constantly feeling slight phlegm in throat. It feels something from my nose is dripping into the throat. I recently had a complete Blood Picture test done and could see the level of monocytes being very low. Is there a possibility that this is related to my current cough? Below are the counts: Monocytes : 0.9% Basophils: 0.3%

I've been having dry cough for last two weeks. While coughing I'm getting severe and acute pain on the left/right lower abdomen. The pain is so severe, I feel as if the stomach will tear-off and pop out, the pressure is so bad and hits the abdomen like a bullet. Done USG scan for whole abdomen, everything is normal, no kidney stone, no gall bladder issues, prostate is fine, etc. What to do now? How to manage this pain, while I'm writing on get rid of the cough? Please advise.

I have cough since last 15 days. I have consulted ENT specialist here in Ahmedabad. He told me like i have seasonal issues for coughing and provided me some medicines but my condition is bad. I have very heavy chest pain on left hand side since 2 days. I am light smoker. I have done check up of my lungs before 1 year and that time report was normal. Please suggest me whether my pain is due to mussucles issue or something else. Moreover my coughing issue is as it is.

I have been having dry cough from last few weeks, actually its like some cough got stuck in my neck. No cold , no fever. Some times I feel totally fine, but some time very bad. It start after I bath. I feel some itching in my throat, which cause cough. I did gargle with both salt and disprin, but its still there. I took lorfast Am medicine for alergy as suggested by a doctor, but didn't work. Cough for 2 weeks. had light fever on two seperate nights within 7 days. cough getting worse. now feel like vomiting when intense coughing starts followed by headaches. generally have been weaker physically although I can do day to day tasks. have been drinking litres of boiling hot water everyday to no avail. no soreness in throat. went to a doctor. told me to xray and cbc test and gave me range of asthma and respiratory tract medicines although I never had asthma ever before.

INITIALLY I GOT IRRITATION IN MY THROAT THEN I TAKE ANTIBIOTIC BUT AFTER 2-3 DAYS LATER I GOT COUGH AND LITTLE BIT OF FEVER DOCTER SAID THAT I HAVE TYPHOID HE AGAIN GIVE ME MEDICINE OF TYPHOID FEVER GET SOMEWHAT SUPRESSED BUT THE COUGH REMAINS SAME AS IT IS I HAVE COUGH FROM 22DAYS I FEEL TIRED IN THE MORNING I FEEL THAT MY BODY REMAINS HIGH BUT ON THERMOMETER IT IS NORMAL

I've been having red eyes, cold and sever cough since a week now.. Red eyes stared 2weeks back no pain just yellow discharge after sleep, cough and cold since a week now and fever comes and goes. Have taken antibiotics since 2days ciproflex and sumo for body pain. But no use.. Cough is sever not letting me sleep at nights. What do i do
