Coughing up the blood in the morning.
Dear doctors, Today in the morning I was cleaning my mouth and I coughed hard to clean my mouth, in the process I could see the blood in my spit. Its clotted blood with thick red in color. When I coughed more, more blood is coming, it was not the same yesterday. Why is this happened? What's the reason? I had my last meal yesterday at midnight due to my work. And tell me why am I coughing blood in the morning?

Do you have any pain before or after food? Acidity? Fever? Blood in stools or urine? Any burning sensation in the stomach or throat or chest? As your symptoms are not specified clearly , I would suggest you meet a gastroenterologist in your area for proper examination and test.

I would advise you to meet a MD general physician you will have to be evaluated and undergo investigations such as X-Ray to find the cause. I can't give you a specific diagnosis with the current history alone.
