Night time coughing due to Allergy
My Daughter suffering from night time coughing due to Allergy, as diagnosed by general physician. Earlier in childhood she also suffering from urticaria. Doctor suggested to take Montek LC kid tablet as and when required basis only. Doctor told to suck tablet in mouth when coughing comes but pharmacist told that it is not chewable tablet take whole by mouth through water.

There is Montek lc chewable tablet available.  So if you got the non chewable one, child need to swallow with water. If it is dispersible one,  child can chew it. But the condition  need to be properly treated. Can consult ENT or allergy specialist if problem is persistent

Taking Montair LC for long term can lead to Neuro-Psychiatric side effects. Not good for a child to suffer from Allergy as well as other side effects with no relief. This will affect her studies and school life, and also her facial features. Elongated face, crowded teeth, snoring, distubed sleep, poor concentration and memory, irritated behaviour etc
