Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My father is 52 years old. Since last 3 months, he has started coughing on a regular basis. He doesn't even smoke. Few tests like blood test and for TB also didn't show anything. The doctor said there is nothing to worry about, it's just an allergy. But he is coughing continuously. What should we do, please help? P.S He is a high blood pressure patient from many years and regularly takes Amlovas AT and he snores very loudly.

My Mom (73 yr) is suffering from persistent cough (no productive/dry) for last 1 month..taking Montair LC & Pantop 40 for 15 days helped a lot (didn't go go away completely) but has again started to increase since stopping the medicines for the last 7 days..her coughs are in fits (lasting few minutes) which occur on an average every 2-3 hours

However no response to that Medicen and the kid is not sleeping and turning out to be tired by having cough

Hi doc My mother has extreme coughing problem from the past 2 months We have taken her to many doctors But no positive results One of the docs said that her lungs capacity has decreased and are only functioning 35%. And her coughing isn't stopping What should I do ? Is it something related to the heart ? What all tests should be conducted so as to know the root cause of the problem? Blood test ? Urine test ? What other tests should be conducted? Somebody pls here.

I experienced constant coughing for a while and a doctor suggested that I might have either sarcodosis or TB. I had a CT and the hiler lymph nodes were enlarged. I also had an MT test and the patch was 20mm. TB Gold test was also positive. The value for a Serum ACE test done was 37 microliters (ref. range - 12-68 microliters) and ESR was also increased. I experience dry cough and fever. Even after all these tests, a doctor that I went to see still says that I have sarcodosis and has given me ATT and steroids. What is the problem according to your experience?

I have cough from last 6 to 8 months.i tried many times but it's not fully cure.now I have also headache from 2 months near eyebrows .mostly when cough increased,cold in near head and load on my eyes.my eye test is fully normal.my pns x-ray also shown bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy seen. R, aged 51 is suffering from frequent cough and uneasiness since 3-4days...she s not even sleeping during nights, feeling too much discomfort, she feels like saliva s stuck inside and while coughing she feels pain in ribs and in stomach. For the last two days, i have been been coughing up blood. these events occurred during night. the amount of blood was little (1 teaspoon), and the color of the blood was bright red. there were no mucus present in the cough. since then i kind of have a burning sensation in my throat. i have been a smoker for last 4 years. apart from that i have no history of any medical issues. i'm really tensed about this. any assistance regarding this would be appreciated.
