Regarding frequent cough
Hello Sir,
My mother Bhuvaneshwari. R, aged 51 is suffering from frequent cough and uneasiness since 3-4days...she s not even sleeping during nights, feeling too much discomfort, she feels like saliva s stuck inside and while coughing she feels pain in ribs and in stomach. When consulted an ENT day before he said it's gastric trouble n given Pan 40mg tablet but of no use. Please help with this issue

Hello there...i understand your concern...try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever she can...Avoid foods that irritate her stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee,tea etc... Avoid stress,consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..do regular exercises...and take medications as prescribed by your doctor.
