Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

I have been coughing up phlegm from so many years . Especially while I eat something hot or spicy or even with a chilled drink or even curd . It's too much in the morning immediately after I wake up . It runs in the family as well . Please suggest treatment options as nothing has worked so far . Thank you
