Hello Dr's, I have been diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder with obsessive thoughts . 4 years back I was prescribed qutan 25mg and nexito 5mg . It did wonders to Me and made a perfectly normal. I stopped meds after 1 year . Currently I consulted different dr and he has given paroxetine 25mg but its not that effective. Its been around 2 months I am taking paroxetine. I asked Dr if he can try qutan but he said nt required . Please guide .

I am taking desvenlafaxine 100mg for anixity then doctor stop on monday because it is not working then next day Tuesday doctor gave me Paroxetine 12.5 after taking this medicine my bp is 150/100 .heart rate 130 .confusion. pain in head and dizziness. I was on 12.5 mg paroxetine CR and clonazepam 0.5 mg for General Anxiety Disorder. My anxiety led to having panic attacks when I am far off my home to the thought of fear of losing control. Also I had trouble sleeping as the sleep was not sound after taking clonazepam. Currently my doctor has switched me to zolpidem 5 mg. I have been taking it from 2-3 days in place of clonazepam. Is paroxetine and zolpidem the right combination?
