Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I developed a pain at a spot on my upper back a couple of days ago. I had been sleeping on the floor for 2-3 days and that could be a cause. Over last couple of days, the pain has expanded to the neck, whole of back and the ribs. I am taking hifenac P as recommended by someone.

Hi Doctor, my mother gets pain in her stomach. Just below the ribs i went to general physician and consulted got ultra sound done, blood test done, endoscopy done too and even CT scan but nothing came into it. So i am worried what is it. The pain is like pricking. Any suggestion

Hi, i have continuos pain in my back n it radiates from back to neck n head. Also sometimes radiating pain in ribs(left side). l'm afraid if its any heart condition? Plz suggest whom shud i consult?

Hello doctor last 7 days, I feel left side under rib heaviness and heaviness feeling when raise hand and hand movement. Only feel someting inside and strange sensation sometimes under rib near heart aur sometimes side of ribs. No pain aur anything else. I mentioned one more thing, I am a patient of anxiety somatic disorder and last 7 days I feel panic attack. My bp in anxiety attack is 136/91 and all time bp is about 116/75 and heart rate approx 85. But this chest heaviness makes me anxious and dizzy all time. Please help me and give me best suggestion. Please help

I faced muscle and rib contusion of my chest but my rib was not broken.Even though injury was minor and mild, there is still stiffness in injured muscles after 50 days.I cannot see any swelling and muscle colour has almost reached skin colour.When I stretch surrounding muscles too nany times I feel minor pain.Also I am not feeling smoothness in my muscles like when I move muscle there are in injured area it seems bit irritating and my breast sometimes itches inside very irritating.And when I press hard into the area it pains little bit.While soft tissue minor injury does not have any cure should I do x ray of the area.Also when I bend down I get some very minor pain in ribs.

I am experiencing Tightness in stomach, exactly below ribs from last 1 month... CT scan latest report attached... Feels like cramps below ribs and something is passing from left to right side stomach.. One day its better others day it's worse... At times in a day 2 to 3 times I feel like something is pinning in right side lower rib... Took below tables for 5 days interim relief but no permanent relief.. Oflaxin OZ 5 days 1 tablet Drotin M. 5 days. 1 tablet Pan 40. 5 days. 1 tablet

Hello doctor.  rib bone pain both sides. Rib bones hurts a lot when I touch. Iam diabetic from 6 years. Also i have fatty liver grade 2, gallbladder polyp 5 mm, no other symptoms. Suffering from antral gastritis from 2 months 6 weeks course of esofag d tablet completed after that suffering from severe acidity. What is the reason of severe acidity ? Gastritis ,gallbladder polyp or fatty liver? . What is the reason of rib bone pain. All these things are related to each other? please answer.

I feel my left is somewhat wierd compared to right, When i rotate my neck left, it feel like a perfect turn but when i do left, I barely feel muscle when turning. Feel like swallowing only left side. Feel like left rib muscles are thinner than right ribs. Sometimes pain under left rib where I feel that I lost some muscle. My left cheek to feels wierd while smiling , not visually but I can feel it inside. Doctor said , left leg is smaller compared to right. Whenever I get headache, I get behind my left head neck region which goes to left scalp. MRI of braine,spine, ENMG , blood tests excepts d and b12 are normal. I don't know what's happening. I am losing confidence and getting bad thoughts about future.cant sleep.this has been going for an year now.

Why do I feel that all my muscle is on right side of body only and left is thin, Sometimes I feel right is culprit thinking it's growing more.sometimes I feel left thinking may be it's not growing at all and muscles feel thin. Particularly left abdomen muscle I feel thin and thus I feel left rib muscles also thin. I am so afraid. I feel I will be disabled soon, I have got multiple tests like mri of lumbar, cervical and full spine and brain.blood tests are normal. But I am not getting why my left abdominal muscles are thinned and at that part I also feel lot of gas which only comes out if I bend left, I have tried various gas medicine but it's still the same. I want to add I fell down before two years while playing and then one of my rib muscles got hurt but no fracture, but when I sleep upside down, that rib pokes into the abdominal muscle I mentioned. I guess it's rectus abdomius part.

I'm having pain in the back, just at the place where the ribs end. I don't have although problem in breathing but while deep breathing the whole front and back of the ribs pains as if the ribs are blocking the lungs to expand. I'm also having a pain in my waist, which aggrevates when I tend to cough or sneeze. This pain is stagnant. I consulted with the general physician, who recommended  a 5days*2 times  course of Zerodol SP medicine. But during the course of the medicine it seemed to have remediated, but it came back again after the medication. I'm in a lot of pain, Please help
