Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I am suffering with gastric issues like feeling of incomplete stool evacuation and frequent bowel movements, etc since long time. I have had gone under colonoscopy on 1st April. Reports are normal. After colonoscopy I was facing right abdominal and chest pain. My gastroenterologist said it is due to gas and acidity. My abdominal pain has some what reduced now. But chest discomfort still persists. I am taking antacids for that as suggested by my general physician. But since few days I am observing that my bowel movements are firm initially and later some what get loose. I suffer from anxiety. Such changes make me tensed. Please help.

I am facing incomplete stool evacuation issue since 3 years. I need to visit toilet several times in a day. And the time required for defecation is more than normal. Recently I noticed blood in stool. I visited gastroenterologist and underwent colonoscopy. Dr. said everything seems normal. From the day after the colonoscopy I am having mild pain in my lower right abdomen and stomach. It's kind of a discomfort. And noticed mucus with blood after defecation today. I contacted the Dr. and he said not to worry as its just local bleeding. But I am kind of tensed. Please help.

I am having 7.3 mm stone at the Ureter and Bladder junction. 5 Days back, I underwent ESWL and I have been asked to come for Scan tomorrow to check whether stone/powder has passed out of my body or not. I am not feeling any kind of pain/discomfort in my abdomen as of now. My question: Is it okay to leave the stone / powder for 6 to 7 days in the ureter tube? Does it causes any harm to kidney or any other parts / functionality of body as the stone will be blocking the flow of urine to bladder? I am experiencing back pain since 2 days which I never got it earlier in my life. Is this back pain due to the ureter stone? Please Assist.

Male, 23 Hello Doctor. I have IBS since 2022. Once or twice every 1–2 weeks my stool appears light brown, beige or light yellow, and I am unable to judge whether it is a normal color or unusually pale. I have attached today's stool photo. My January 2024 endoscopy showed a small sliding hiatus hernia with GERD. My January 2025 ultrasound showed mild hepatomegaly with mild fatty liver changes, with no gallstones or biliary obstruction. My July 2025 LFTs were normal. I have no jaundice, yellow eyes, dark urine or severe itching. Does the attached stool color look normal or does it suggest a liver or bile duct problem? is it anything serious please say in internet it's showing liver damage and bile blockage and how much time grade 1 fatty liver take to convert into grade 2 my age is 23 i have attached the stool photo sorry for that and usg photo and I have burning sensation from 6 months is it ibs ?? I am a 30-year-old male with bowel symptoms for 3+ years Symptoms: - Daily straining to pass stool. - Incomplete evacuation feeling. - Stool comes in parts, not all at once. - Spend 20–30 minutes in toilet daily. - Stool is sticky, semi-solid, difficult to flush, and spreads in water. - About 70% of stools are sticky; 30% are more normal but still flat, not sausage-shaped. - Daily transparent white jelly-like mucus (sometimes mixed with stool, sometimes separate). - Occasional flat or fragmented stools. - Burning sensation under the right rib, worse during constipation and sometimes after meals. Tests: - Colonoscopy: Multiple superficial terminal ileal ulcers with inflammation up to 15 cm. - Biopsy: Chronic inactive ileitis. - CRP: Normal. - Fecal calprotectin: Normal. - Endoscopy: Mild antral gastritis. - Abdominal ultrasound: Normal. - Weight increased by 5 kg. Question: what is the cause ?

I am 27 year old male.I am suffering from very annoying health situation that noone can diagnose it from 6 years.This started with dizziness and spinning feeling ,with pain in neck region.From then it never stops.Now I am feeling pain in ribs ,neck pain ,vertigo like feeling, tingling in leg , excessive sweating,mental confusion (Things which are easily recalled by me takes much efforts to recall it),Pain in body after vigorous activity, Dizziness (feeling sleepy after eating lunch ), Increased Fatigue after running or lifting light weight.At night feels somewhat good.But this situation left me in maze.Where I find my self in trap no way out.I have shown many doctors around 10 docs and bunch of reports showing All Normal.I also visited Psychiatrist for mental illness.He said that I may have Anxiety Disorder.But what about physical symptoms that are disturbing my daily life in large extent.Please Suggest me anyone who can relate with situation.(Sorry for long question)

I am having breathing problem (heavy/ laboured breathing) and feel very lethargic all day since last 4 months. I have got Troponin test, Stress Echo, Chest X-ray and ultrasound done with all ok reports. Also, got PFT done wherein I was able to inhale properly but couldn’t exhale completely. Got blood and urine test done and all clinical parameters are all ok except the following: Bilirubin : 1.99 mg/dL, however SGOT/SGPT are ok Vitamin-D:55 nmol/ L Vitamin B-12: 177 pg/mL Apo A1: 95 mg/dL Apo B: 37 mg/dL Also, have a persistent feeling of something getting pulled in the middle of the stomach (between both ribs). Have consulted a cardiologist, pulmonologist, radiologist, Gastroenterologist as well but the problem still persists. Taking Tolol XR25 OD for last few years for high BP. Have taken gastritis medicines like Pantakind DSR/ Zecid 20 mg for last 10-20-30 days as advised by the physician but it didn't help. Pls advice what could be problem and future treatment.

Suffered a vehicle accident 7 months back (30th Aug19). For 15 days treated at Amri Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The discharge diagnosis is: RTA LEFT TEMPORAL CONTUSION, RIGHT PARIETAL CONTUSION, #RIGHT CLAVICLE, #RIGHT 4TH-6TH RIB, HEMOTHORAX, VIII NERVE PALSY. There was no surgery. Was treated by Dr Amit Jaiswal. Medicines taken during the initial 45 days are Epsolin 100mg, Ultracet, Predmet 4mg, Tolvat 15 mg, Eliwell 10mg, Augmentin 625mg, Chymoral Forte, Calpol 650, Histafree-m, Levenue 500mg, Nexpro 40mg, Rutoheal, Syp Glycerol, Syp Calcimax, Syp Duphalac, Syp Dyrich. For face palsy continued physiotherapy with electrod stimulation for 4 months. Now only Epsolin 300 and Felicita medicines are taken. She is complaining about taste problem in mouth while eating. Plus right eye, while was earlier not closing on its own, now not opening properly.

What is the treatment of subgaleal hematoma developed 2 months back?pt had history of fall 2 months back with head injury (no ct scan done during that time) and 6th nd 7th rib #..He has childhood asthma and used to be on foracort mdi.he used to be on amlo 10 and telmisartan 40 odpc and stator 10 odhs since last 2 months.Then  7 days back Pt had h/o  fall and an episode of lower limb seizure 3episodes lasting 40secs with no loss of consciousness gcs-15/15(ct scan was done this time)and was emergency managed by lasix nicardipine p-enema (as pt didnt pass stool dat day) but is presently having drowsiness and medication of telmikind am (b.p is controlled 115/70 over last 7 d) stator 10 ,rejunex cd3 and Stalopam lite since last 7 days..ct showed no intracranial injury but subgaleal hematoma in lft parietal region ..Kindly give your valued opinion regarding further management and investigations to be needed if any..no episode of seizure since the last attack..pt was a vegan for last 20 yrs..

Hi, I am having severe pain right side of the body below ribs,Its kind of a muscle catch.it makes me to walk slowly.some times pain is extremly severe.from last two months i have lost 10kg of my body.i will do daily 40 mins of thread mill.now i weigh 72 kg.generally in morning after wake up it feel like muscle has streched whole night.from last 2 years when ever pain is there i use to take etoshine tablets it is to releive the pain.now i cannot travel in auto every jump in road makes me worst pain.at present etoshine is not at all working. From 1 month back i started zerodal -th8 i use to take only if it is much severe.i felt it does work 1 to 2 hrs thats it occassianlay.feeling severe shoulder pain from last 2 days. In shower daily i have hot water on back and side of my body somewhat it releives pain for 1 hr.next week i am traveling abroad next week for 45 days.can some one please provide medication as temporary solution.once back i will diagonise the problem.
