Dear doc,          I am aged 30yrs is suffering from arm n shoulder pain since 4 weeks. Some times there is a slight pulling pain near side of the neck. I have visited orthopaedic and as advised tablets n hot compression with some physiotherapy. It has reduced now almost 60% as i was in rest for a week. Still have slight pain and discomfort during day and in night times it is more. Hence not  getting continuous sleep. some times it agrivates. Doc has told there is a muscle compression near neck.. trapezious muscle. Please advise its been 4 weeks.. i am not feeling  comfortable still. I am a software professional.

Hi, I got an injury on my trapezius a while back at the gym and I been out of the gym for a month. I was getting headaches and pressure behind my eyes and other symptoms and I been feeling a bit better recently but still have discomfort a bit. I wanted to strengthen it up a bit since it's recovering and decided to do 10 push-ups for 3 sets. I noticed after finishing that I had a dull feeling in the back of my neck and I feel a slight bit of pressure behind my eyes only a small bit. I was wondering whether this was okay. And I wanted to know what I should do now.

I have this mild, extremely mild, feeling of wanting to pee for every one hour after I've had sex. This feeling lasts for a day at most. And whenever I do pee, I pee a lot in terms of quantity as well. There's no other form of discomfort. There's no pain, no urgency. I also drink a lot of water, to flush out any little bacteria. I was on a monthly course of Nitrofuratoin for Urinary tract infection till the end of April, and I show no signs of a similar infection. And I've always had protected sex. I had my period 8 days ago. I want to know if this mild sensation is alright or if it's something to worry about. And it isn't an urgent feeling at all. Also, is it okay to have protected sex on the 9th and 10th day of your period (during the ovulation week)?

Hi, Well my problem is that whenever I get stressed or even lightly worried I feel my entire left part of body feeling numb, tight and it mildly hurts randomly like my left hand , hip ,knees or stiffening of neck nerves sometimes I cannot point out any specific part it's like i feel discomfort all over my left part of body while the right side looks absolutely ok.I know it's because of accumulation of gas and if I press any part along left side of my body I star burping.what can I do to overcome this like any change of food habit or something like practising yoga or just some pills.Well pills don't really give a permanent remedy as long as Iam off the mood ;stressed worried ;even over something simple this problem starts nd once I it became so severe that my chest started h

I am 25 years old male from India. I have been constantly experiencing the fear of having a heart attack. I can even observe all the related symptoms like pain in left side of the chest, stomach discomfort (specifically on the right abdomen), pain in the left hand (sometimes left foot also) etc. I have been suffering from this for almost a year now. Last year I had my ECG done by an MD which came back absolutely normal and doctor concluded that it's nothing but anxiety. But still that fear and symptoms don't go away. I am very much disturbed and can't concentrate on my routine work. Am I really suffering from heart problem or it's just anxiety?

It started a month ago. the right side of my chin got really swollen and its very painful that I cant even eat. We went to the doctor and Diagnosed it was an abscess,she prescibed me Co-Amoxiclav for 5 days for treatment. after 3days it came into a head and finally drained and healed. 2 weeks later I got another one inside my Right nostril. it hurts so bad and theres like a hard pus blocking the wound site. I need to pull it off to drain and its really really painfull to pull out. so it drained and healed again. fast forward to last week I GOT ANOTHER ONE! This time above my butt. I dont know whats causing this and it gives me real discomfort for a month now. can someone help me?

I have a lump on my right underarm. It has been here since around Feb 2014 when I had swollen lymph nodes and fever. I was also 3months pregnant that time. I didn't think too much about about it since the pain went away and it didn't really bother me much. It doesn't cause discomfort but I'm just wondering why the lump is still here. I am a generally healthy 23-yr-old mom. History of Asthma (my mom), Diabetes (dad's side), and high blood pressure. I was a very active athlete back at teenage years. Now I exercise occasionally, around 2-3x/week. Height is 5ft 1in. Weight is 119.4lbs.

Hi there I have a lump near the start of my thigh joint close to my anus and vagina It is very hard and gives me pain when I'm sitting or trying to walk. I have had a similar issue last year in the left side which still present but doesn't give much of a discomfort However the lump is little lengthy and it is of the length of some 5 inches now. I had fever recently and it was a small one like pimple so I ignored it. Now it's grown to 5 inches and very difficult to sit for longer hours. What should I do Is there a home remedy or should I consult a doctor. If I need to consult a doctor what kind of doctor should I consult.

My uncle got diagnosed with benign prostate hyperplasia a year ago ..his urologist first prescribed afdura (alfuzosin +dutasteride) but when his prostate changed back to its normal size .he suggested either to stop medication or to continue with alfusin 10 only if the patient feel more comfortable with it . But my uncle complains of mild or medium discomfort with his urinary flow and insists on having afdura rather than alfuzosin . is it okay to take afdura for long time?is there any serious side effects ? Unfortunately his urologist has passed away recently so there is no one to consult with yet . so Any information regarding this would be very very helpful ..thank you

Frequent and uncomfortable burping and burning feeling in stomach. Condition exists for last many weeks and sustained heavyness feeling travels upto left side of chest. Gelusil and eno gives relief only for a while and burps and burning returns soon after. Discomfort felt mostly at night time. Dinner is taken at least 2-3 hours before going to bed ,doing regular  yoga and diet does not include dairy product or non veg on advise of ayurvedic dr. But still no improvement.
