Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Hello Doctors... My 4 months old baby taking feed only during sleep, he refuse to have while awake (breast feed and bottle feed both) , is this normal? This started when he was 3 months old and he refused to take milk while awake/conscious, although he is hungry. I have tried to cuddle him, body to body touch while feeding him but none of it work. I have no choice so every time when is time to feed, I need to cuddle him until he is drowsy/asleep. He is gaining weight but not quite as much as he should be. Is my baby sick/has he got underlying health problem which are causing pain while drinking, ie throat / stomach discomfort? He just pushes bottle out with tongue and cries a lot if awake but will quite happily drink 120-150 ml if he half asleep. Pls suggest!!!!!Help!!

I have recently gone thru left and right inguinal hernia surgery. Left side was more and right side was bubonocele. It was laparoscopic surgery. This is my 11th day and left side feeling much better, however, right side groin and Scortum swelling. I feel like swelling but surgeon told this is normal and wear sports underwear. There is no pain and am walking 6000 steps daily slow walk. My Doppler scortum before surgery is normal report. Kindly let me know whether scortum and groin right side swelling is normal and how much time it will take to go away. This causes discomfort during walking. Thx

I am suffering from health anxiety since I was 12 years old. It really makes it difficult for me and gives me panic attacks. I really want to overcome this feeling..it gets even worse when I am actually sick. I always end up thinking I am going to die or I might have a chronic disease. Even the slightest of discomfort in my body makes me panic. I lost my father at an early age and since then I have been feeling health anxiety. I see people around me go about their lives without any worry and I really want to feel normal. Even the slightest fever or headache or pain makes me worry. Everyone around me tells me I need to grow up and stop overthinking but I really try my best. Still I can't help these thoughts.

This episode started with heavy pain in left side lower abdomen going upto left testicle, so usg done and found minor left sided colitis in large intestine, was under medication and now ok and no further issue in lower abdomen but all of a sudden heavy pain started in left testicle, so I have done scrotum usg and found varicocele in left testicle grade 2. For the pain I have been given medicine Daflon 500 and ultracet(SOS).Have taken the medicine one ultracet and under medication of Daflon 500 for the last 7 days. Now the pain has gone but a strange tingling feeling comes and goes in the scrotum area, specifically left side and causing heavy discomfort. Prostate, kidney and liver related issue is not there as per USG report. Please help...

I had cold and fever in 1st week of Feb..I took the following medications:-Tab Azithral 500,Tab Montek LC,Tab Dolo 650mg Ever since then I'm having a persistent fishy smell in both my nostrils..nose remains blocked most of the time.Im also sneezing a lot ,having low grade fever(Temp between 99.1-99.5°F) experiencing post nasal drip and throat pain every now and then..I'm having a lot of discomfort I had ent issues in 2015 but after using the prescribed medications my symptoms had reduced Kindly help me..

My breastfeed baby 3n half month poop pattern is not regular sometimes she poops after 2 days but most of the time she poops between 8-10 days, she is otherwise active /playful(weight 6.2kg), pees and doesn't show any signs of discomfort but today pediatrician told us if baby is pooping in 7-8 days then she can have thyroid and she has a flat spot on the back of head since birth which is slightly still present doc asked us to do thyroid test. When my baby was born they had done thyroid test and she did not have thyroid . Do we need to do thyroid test?

Last year he got abdominal pain and lose stool urgently to be defecated. In stool test revealed blood and Entamoeba coli. Doctor give metronidazole and ppi. Two month later again did stool test and blood rbc was negative.But entamoeba coli was there in one sample of 2 consecutive days Till then no watery or losely form stools but sometimes upper abdominal discomfort with farting and stomach growling present intermittently. USG normal. Lost weight 2 kg. What can be done to be cured? Now he dont take any medicine.

Hello doctors why my right testicle is diff frm left and now left also has been changing feel like a variocele but no family history linked with variocele or cancer my testicles are descended frm birth and I feel some discomfort like compress it all started after post covid and my legs also pain nerves pain please help me out im depressed by prediction of Testicle cancer pl tell it is not a cancer. I feel nerve pain around testicle n leg like varicose veins right leg starts tingling and numbness if stand long or sit with testicle I feel pressuring pain in scrotum once I got hit by underwear elastic rubber to testicle thereafter it started nerve paining and one big vein on right testicle

I am getting mild pain in the chest, chest discomfort, chest tightness, in the left hand,neck ..I done with ECG,2DEcho,TMT, chest X- ray but all are normal ..I attached the reports ...I have cervical spondylitis left side of the neck ...is spondylitis causing the pain ? Or any muscle spasm is causing this pain ? I face this issue last year also that time also all reports are normal ..including" TRop-T" test also negative..if in case muscle spasm the cause then which tablet should I take ?

I had a acute chest discomfort and rapid heart last Monday. At that time my BP shoot up to 152/101 and HR 157. I was rushed to ER where my investigations are done. 2D Echo and Angiography come normal and discharged but I still suffer from chest heaviness particularly when I walk briskly and climbing stairs and feel like typical angina pain. I have been taking Olmesar M and Rosuless C for last 1 year. But still suffering from chest pains and angina symptoms. My weight is 103 Kgs and height 6 feet. In my report Mid Mycardial Bridge has come. Are these pains due to this ? Can this be a non obstructive CAD ? Because the pain makes me very anxious and reduced my ability to Exercise.
