Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I have been experiencing persistent breathing discomfort. It feels like I am running out of breath, and at times I have to consciously remind myself to breathe. Breathing has started to feel effortful, as though it has become a task rather than automatic. Even after taking deep breaths, it feels insufficient. I also experience a strange sensation in my chest.. a sense of shallowness or sinking. This occurs even while talking. There is mild chest tightness (approximately 10% in intensity). Additionally, I have noticed episodes of heart fluttering/palpitations.

I had a tiny white spot on right breast (noticed 12 years ago). It was just the same (no change in colour size or texture) until I delivered my first baby and started breast feeding. After I started breast feeding for 4 months, noticed the white spot skin peeling off once every 4-6 months. I stopped breast feeding, since 3 years, but that white spot skin peeling still occurs once every 4-6 months. No pain, no discomfort no other symptoms. But this white spot peeling doesn't go away. Should I be worried? Can this be breast cancer or something serious?

I have too much pain in the upper abdomen going towards the back and causing me lot of discomfort and sufferance from past two weeks. I am having severe GERD with esophagitis grade B and fatty liver also. I also have hiatus hernia. I am a Bariatric patient done with sleeve gastrectomy and bcoz of my GERD condition where in manometry I have also got motility issue doctor suggested me to go for roux en y gastric bypass as there is no other option for me as PPI stopped working on me long back. But suddenly from past two weeks stomach is very badly paining and the pain is radiating to the back. Getting stool which is not going easily from the WC. Yesterday I did USG as suggested by the doctor and it has been found that I have infiltration of the pancreas and the tail of the pancreas is obscured with bowel gas so not visualised. Doctor please suggest if I need to do anything as stomach is hurting badly.

My 2.5 month old baby was born prematurely and is having to take supplements- Calcium, Multivitamin,Iron and vitD. Also, HMF. Which is why i had been feeding her breastmilk by expressing it. Since her feed demand increased, I have introduced formula milk also. I am combination feeding her with atleast 20-25mins of burping. I have observed today that she is crying on and off during and after feeding. That remains the case while burping and sleeping as well. Also, this crying is different from hunger cry and discomfort cry. It seems as though she is pain. Please suggest if there seems to be any issue or if this is normal.

The patient underwent surgery for cervical tumors in 2021. Since the surgery, she has been experiencing partial paralysis in the lower portion of her body. Over the last 4–5 years, she has had the following persistent symptoms: Incontinence: Involuntary passage of both urine and stool She is unable to control or sense when it happens Gastrointestinal issues: Frequent acidity, gas, and occasional abdominal discomfort Symptoms worsen after eating or at night General Weakness: Persistent physical weakness, especially in the lower limbs Limited mobility and fatigue during daily activities

Hi , I am a 28 year old female. From tomorrow I am experiencing shortness of breath constantly when walking in the room more. I also have a light needle like pain in the left hand fingers and near the left armpit for a few seconds tomorrow all day but today it has gone.  I am also having some gassy and discomfort in stomach.Today is the only shortness of breath. BP is 110, 76 , and 92 is the heart rate. I visited a local doctor, he prescribed some anti cold  Medicine and suggest steaming and avoiding cold food products.

From last few days.. approx 1 mnth. .I'm feeling a strange problem.. Specifically at night.. I go to sleep feeling to sleepy..bt I cant sleep due to serious discomfort in left part of chest. It feels gas is moving upward. And the full body feels strangely uncomfortable and that's not normal...this problem is just killing me mentally.. Please please help me. What's this problem? N.B- I'm h pylori positive and currently in my antibiotics course of 14 days. Also have gas bloating acidity burping regurgitation issues

Hospitalised to ICU for high heart rate and 3 ECGs were normal. 2d echo was normal. Multiple BPs were normal. Negative trop i test. CT coronary angiography results were "D1 shows 30-40% ostial stenosis" still have mild chest discomfort and elevated heart rate when standing up. Discharged from hospital in 2 days. Doctor prescribed aspirin and statins. Need second opinion on what could be the next course of action. Thanks

Recently i underwent Endoscopy and found Antral gastritis with H pylori positive so i was asked to take Esogress HP Forte for 2 weeks followed by Vonoprazon 20 mg for next 4 weeks. Along with this i have constipation and fissure due to which i cant pass my stools sitting i need bend and with the help of finger i need to pass stool. The problem is i am getting pain in the shoulder chest and major is in the neck and the pain is associated with swallowing difficulty as well. This swallowong difficulty is not always but some times it happens. I had been to Physiotherapy Tens and more but pain is not reducing. I have taken ECG, ECHO 2D recently and  CT cardiac 2 years before Cardiologist says it is non cardiac chest pain. I feel very discomfort especially in the evenings. Can you please help me how can i understand what is happening with me.

My 4.5-year-old son has been suffering from loose motion (2–4 times/day), vomiting (1–2 times/day), occasional middle chest pain, low appetite, and mild weakness for the past 3 days. He’s been prescribed Lanspro 15 (empty stomach), Aglozyme C (twice daily after food), Regutol Mini (once daily), and ORS. However, there’s little improvement, and symptoms persist—especially loose stool and chest discomfort. Could this be a viral infection or food-related issue? Should we consider any change in medication or further investigation? Kindly suggest the next steps for diagnosis or relief. Thank you.
