Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

My chest wall is very thin I can feel my ribs. Sometimes I feel pain around that area​ and cough out blood and yellowish mucous when I have flu. It's been going on for 2 years now. Other symptoms I have are ; cold intolerance, constant fatigue, weight loss, dry and thin skin, visible veins, headaches​, diarrhea, very red and protruding eyes especially at nights​. I lack stamina and strength, my hands shake involuntarily, hypersensitive to cold. I feel cold inside my hip bones,i easily contact flu. I have ran a few test such as urinalysis, widal test, glucose, HIV, chemical pathology, thyroid function test, complete blood count CBC, Liver, all these test showed am healthy. Please what is the problem here? Is it possible i have pneumonia or I'm suffering from low immune system. Please advise me properly

Hi, I am 39 male. I ve been smoking for 13 yrs.. on a AVG of 12 a day.. the problem is I ve been drinking heavily for the last 4- 5 yrs.. drinking was abnormal..  Last 1.5 yrs I cough mucus with grey stuff.. ma face got big, am lean but I got a dual chin, very awkward for a body like mine... I feel pain in ma right lower below rib, which is obviously some liver problem I think.. I ve seen doctors in d begning stage.. too k blood tests n x-rays.. told me no issues.. recently saw a ent, he told ma dual chin is coz of fat.. I ve told him I drink heavy.. I don't know wat ma problem is... I ve doctor frnds but am avoiding them coz I may ve cancer.. some1 plz help me.. plz help me.. I want to live a happy life.. n plz don't publish ma problems in public.. thanks.. I am ready to take an appointment any time.. but plz gimme a exact solution. . Thanks..

I have been suffering from moderate to severe pain below my right shoulder blade from the past two weeks.I used to rope skipping from the past 45 days.I do not feel any kind of pain when I sit ideally or while walking or running but I feel pain when I rotate my Right hand/shoulder and when I try to rotate my thorax and I also feel pain on the right side of middle back when I deep breath.I have visited Orthopaedician and undergone X rays of L and D spine and the report showed that there are no abnormal findings.The Esr is 11 in the range of 3-5 and CRP is positive.The doctor told me that the spine is little straight and he told me that it is caused by spasms.The doctor gave me antibiotic, NSAID and Ultracet.I feel little relieved when I take those pills.But after three to four hours the pain starts If I rotate my Shoulder Blade or rotate my thoraxI also feel pain on the right side back ribs when I concentrate my weight on that region during my sleep.Can u please help me on this.Thanks

Hello, Im a 25 year old female. I had ankle sprain and I visited a doctor. He gave me Piroxicam. He prescribed it for 5 days, daily twice. After I used it for 4 days, my stomach was paining so much. That drug had a very bad effect on me. I visited Gastroentrologist and undergone endoscopy, that drug caused ulcers in my duodenum and also I had black stools. He prescribed me Happi(Rabeprazole) daily once. That Happi tablet had also side effect on me, I had sore throat, pain in my chest and change of taste on my tongue, so I discontinued it after 3 days of use. Its been 10 days, now my stool is normal color. But sometimes my stomach is paining (not severe)(the part between ribs and belly)And Im avoiding spicy food,etc Will the ulcers go away on their own? what kind of diet I need to follow? I dont want to take unnecessary medications. Please tell me, I'm so worried. Thank you, awaiting reply.

Starting i used to have severe headache problems. I still have it but its too often now. I used to take saridon probably everyday to deal with the headaches. Pain in calves when i run even for a minute. I feel tired all the time. I suffered pain in my testicles few times. Sometimes i also have a very severe cramp in the centre of my chest where the rib cage starts to separate. It is usually when i exercise. And i faced sex problems as well. Not lasting for even a minute. I have low concentration and face mood swings and also get irritated easily. im stressed, depressed and might be a victim of anxiety. The biggest problem is overthinking. My brain keeps working and i keep thinking all the time. I feel i have many symptoms of low testosterone. I haven't shared it with anyone yet. And yes, I started smoking up 4,5 years ago and have also consumed cannabis/marijuana from past 2,3 years. I have gained fat now and also i have man boobs which might be because of the mass gainer while gyming.

I was diagnosed with intestinal ulcer 2 years ago. Had severe stomach pain accompanied with black stools. Now iam taking homeopathic medicines. Feeling better but not completely cured. Whenever iam worried or eating outside, the same problem is repeated. Iam unable to take allopathic medicines even paracetamol. The effect of ulcer is severe.. My main problem is iam having lenghthy breaths for more than 8months when this problem is severe.. Iam not having a complete sense while normal respiration.. I breath hard for every second even my ribs, stomach and back neck is paining... I have done tests for respiratory problems and every results came to be normal.. Doctors are unable to figure it out d reason behind my long and forceful breaths.. I dnt know d connection b/w the intestinal ulcer and long breaths but I found it they occur simultaneously.. Dear Sir/mem, I am suffering from hyperbillurbin from last 12 years, a doctor told that it's a gilbert syndrome, I don't know the exact reason for this. The level of billurubin fluctuate in between 2 to 5. From January this year I have diagnosis as high cholesterol VLDL, TG. I visited apollo medicine specialist but no one finding the exact cause for this. Even if I have maintained a good diet, exercise. My ultrasound is also ok. Currently my TG is 336 it was 436 on January, Feb 400 and March 260. Recent billurubin is indirect 3.8. I m feeling little bit heavyness in my right rib cage and some time a mild pain sensation. No one suggest any medicine for cholesterol bcz of my liver problem. What I should do. I am totally frustrated. If I am suffering from gilbert syndrome then how my cholesterol levels fluctuate in high level. Please suggest.

Hi, Dont know how to start...case is quite simple but hard to find solution.2 months back felt pain in different parts of body like back of head, legs n tummy n chest and numness in fingers as well. Went for blood test gave out thyroid and cholesterol problem, consulted with doc and now most is under control but pain in tummy and chest was still there and ita not a continues pain. Last week consulted gastro doc he gave medicine for gas and asked for ultrasound n fibroscan. Ultrasound came as grade1 fatty liver n all other normal. Where as fibroscan came as 5.1kpa, 0.4 kpa and 8% which i dont know is good or bad. As per his medication pain in tummy is much lesser but some time feel pain on left side of chest near ribs and then a pain will start at any part of body for few min, is it gas only or should i consult cardio as well?

I am 26 years old male having pain in the left pocket side area of leg for last one year, earlier i ignored it but it started increasing 3 months back i showed it to a doctor but he didnt see it well and just gave me pain killers after that i started developing pain in the joints ,pain in the ribs ankles then again i went to physician he proposed me 25hydroxy VitaminD test and it came to 13.4ng/mL range should be 50-80, i am consuming vitd3 60,000iu tablets weekly but the major concern is pain in the left pocket side area of leg i showed it to orthopaedic and went through 15 rounds of physiotherapy and ultrasound session also did stretching exercises of IT band, TFL muscle,gluts exercises but still huge pain is there only on the left side of IT band area and it occurs more when i am in static position or rest position and if i start moving or walking then it reduces so the major concern is that is it happening due to vitamin D deficiency or there could be another factor?? Please help
