Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I have pain in my stomach just below the left rib. It feels like something is tightly stuck or gripping inside, and sometimes it feels like something is moving there, which causes severe pain. My stomach is never properly clear, and I often experience incomplete bowel movements. Sometimes, there are unusual sounds coming from my stomach. This problem has been there for a very long time (around 20 years). I drink a good amount of water, but even after drinking water, something comes back up from my stomach, like a foamy substance (similar to when we mix detergent in water). I avoid oily food. I practice yoga, eat fruits, and consume normal home-cooked meals. Another issue is that my weight is around 60 kg, but I look thin compared to my weight. I also have dark circles, wrinkles, and a lot of pigmentation on my face. I feel tired most of the time. I have consulted many doctors and taken almost all types of medicines for constipation and gastric problems, but problem is still the same.

I have been diagnosed with a Grade 3 Fatty Liver in Nov having CAP 303 and KPA 11. I have reduced my weight from 125 to 120. In mid December I got another Fibroscan done. This time CAP is 338 and KPA 6.5. Since then I have reduced another 4.5 Kg of weight. But sometimes I feel slight pain or uneasiness in the right side of the ribs area. Current prescribed medications are Bilypsa and thiotres. Can someone tell what exactly is happening and is there any need for change in medication? Also can I take a Liver Detox capsule consisting of Milk Thistle along with current medication? Can someone suggest diet? I am pure vegetarian and mostly getting protein from Double Toned milk, paneer, curd, butter milk, besan, legumes, soya chunks. Also, using mustard oil mostly and sometimes desi ghee. Max 20 ml per day. Also, I have kidney stones in both kidneys 3.1 mm and 2.4 mm.

Hi all, I'm male,age 33, height 5.10 ft,weight around 95 kg Last 1 week. I play football 3 days a week. I generally don't have breakfast and have lunch at 2pm I'm  dextrocardia / situs inversus. I'm having pain in my left rib cage area in one particular spot. The pain is slowly moving in the front part of the chest as well ( my feeling) I'm having heaviness on my chest as well for few minutes once or twice a day To be on the safer side, I took ecg, echo and chest scan. It's normal. But I want to know the reason for the pain in my ribcage area. Last 2 to 3 days, my spinal cord starting point near the bum is slightly paining. Is it because of any muscle catch or gas or anything related to heart. Please help. I have always been healthy and this is the first time I'm getting these symptoms. Should I take any test to confirm Not taking any tabs as of now.

Since last 2 3 days I was having mild burning pain specially after eating or drinking few food items something but yesterday at night after having 1 cup of packet milk without boiling I suddenly had severe burning pain and heaviness in right upper abdomen and also under ribcage just below chest it felt like I will die of that pain as it was that much heavy like I was nit even to breathe because of it than I immediately had 2 digene tablet and 1 pan 40 tab after which in 5 to 10 Minutes I felt normal but still now also I am feeling different type of mild heaviness at upper right abdomen and also under rib cage although I don't have fever and my stool and urine are also normal not even I have bloating and no yellowish in skin or eyes or nails just burning pain and heaviness

I had a chest infection last month. I have recovered from it, there's no cough, only some cough in the morning. I do get sneezing many times, assuming it to be allergies and stuffed nose sometimes. After the chest infection i have pain above the ribs on right side, sometimes when i breathe in deep it feels achy. Chest xray is clear, will attach the xray. Cbnaat sputum wss negative. Sputum culture showed heavy growth k pneumonia but doc said it's insignificant. I am getting some rashes on upper chest/shoulder area. Fatigue. Idk what's happening to me. Unable to gain weight as well. There are some white spots on both of my tonsils but there's no infection symptoms yet(like sore throat etc). Attaching xray and the tonsil pics(please ignore the pharyngeal wall, the granual appearance is there since many years, showed it to ent they said it to be nothing concerning). Please guide me. This is making me so stressed. Also i do have headache sometimes.

Respectful Authority, My uncle had an accident recently and the report of CT brain was normal but has shown Mild Hemothrax along with right pleural thickening, fracture of 4th, 5th and 6th ribs according to HRCT Chest. He was admitted to the hospital and being treated in emergency room from 30th of July and was then sent to general ward a couple of days before. The X-ray report shows as mild blunted & mild soft tissue thickening along right pleural cavity and the impression as mild pleural effusion. The spinal curvature says that it's been straightened and anterior marginal osteophytes. Kindly tell that does all these impressions are treatable or does anything needs surgical intervention! Please intimate the above mentioned issues kindly so that the families anticipation can be relieved a bit. All the other reports and vitals are in normal condition. No other health issues found. Is he safe and out of Dager! Anything to panic about the mentioned reports!! Thanking you in anticipation,

I am a mother of a 1 year old baby. From the second trimester onwards, I had a feeling like my baby was punching in my upper abdomen eventually my ribs started paining. After my delivery, whenever I sit long for breastfeeding, my upper left abdomen starts paining. But after a few weeks of delivery, I saw that my upper left abdomen was swollen. I consulted my gyno, and she told me that it's nothing to worry about. I have stopped breastfeeding after 6 months but even now I have pain and swelling only if I sit for long. For the last 4-5 days I slept upside down and when I wake up in the morning, I get severe pain in my upper left abdomen and straight back to it. Which specialist should I consult?              One more concern is that can I voluntarily take certain tests (tests like HB, Thyroid level, iron, vitamin, calcium deficiency, etc) and consult a doctor or is it mandatory to have doctors consultation and prescription before taking tests?

Hello. I'm 41. I have been having a mild chest pain with mild back pain on and off. But in the last two weeks, I become breathless even with walking up the stairs or exercising. I have supraventricular tachycardia and I take a mild dose 1.25mg if beta blocker every day. Initially I thought it was probably my heart, but now I feel it may be my lungs. When I walk a km for exercise at a moderate pace my pulse goes upto 140. Comes down after 2 or 3 min once I stop. When I climb slightly steep stairs or goes to 112 or so. I'm not tired but I feel breathless. It's never happened before. I had costochondritis 2 yrs back. It does feel similar to that again. I felt slight rib pain but not anymore. This is mostly on the left side. My resting pulse has always been around 90 though after taking betablockers. I took blood tests recently and everything is normal. I have ibs and am on normaxin rt. My tummy is also fine though. Could you let me know what the possibilities are. thank you.

My sis feel her body muscle vibrate inside and feet toe also feel vibrate and muscles like tremor and  twinching and feel legs sleepy numbness and prickling on legs and stabing pain in legs sometime and pain in abdomen and ribs pain left side also and dizziness CBC RESULT total RBC 4.2 HEMOCARRIT 36 TOTAL ESR 20   lymphocyte 33 hemogolobin 12    neutrophills 41% NORMAL LFT  Bullubin total 0.8 bullubin indirect 0.2 bullbin indirect 0.6 TEST NORMAL AND CHEST X RAY NORMAL is it a muscle strain mineral deficency or something else plz give me detail answer of my question and feel pain in ankle and pressure have no family diabtes history have no family other serious disease history .

I had an minor accident 2 years back, but no issues for 6 months atleast after that but During WFH, I felt my left leg small all of sudden , doctor did sonography and told it's 4- 5 cms small How is that possible? I didn't feel that till that date. Does that effect all of my left body?i feel I am losing muscle on left abs under my elf rib. Now I am having things like lower back left pain , left thigh lil thinner than left, left buttocks while sitting is smaller than right , right is thick and big. Left chest feels hallow and sometimes I get left neck and headache. I did brain MRI, spine MRI, blood tests, BP, sugar , ENMG ,XRay , all are fine except vitamin D and B12 , I am taking suppliments for that. Please help me. In some way I feel my right body bones are bigger and stiffer and hence bigger and heavy muscles on right side. Please help.
