Recently Answered Questions on Ibuprofen

I took an overdose yesterday of 64x200mg Ibuprofen. I took it around midday. I hadn’t eaten for more than 24 hours prior to taking them. I regretted it almost immediately, and called for help, and an ambulance took me to hospital. They didn’t take my bloods for another 3/4 hours after the i ingested them. My bloods came back clear, and this morning the doctor asked me if I actually took the tablets, to which I said yes, because I did, but I could tell he didnt believe me. Can you explain this?

My friend overdosed on 8000mg of ibuprofen last month. She's fine at the moment but wants to see a doctor here in North Carolina to get a check up because she knows that there could be long term damage. But she's worried that they would keep her on a 72 hour watch (something she has had before) for attempted suicide even though it was over a month ago. She is seeing a therapist now. So basically my question is, would they send her somewhere for a 72 hour watch under the circumstances?

I just started taking sertraline for my anxiety, about ten days ago. I was prescribed 1 25mg tablet per day. I'm a woman, turning 21 tomorrow, and am on vacation with my family. My doctor's office is very difficult to get ahold of and I haven't heard back for days. I just wanted to know if I am able to drink while taking this medication. I mean maybe a glass of wine or two, not binge drinking or anything heavy - just little to celebrate with my family. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know! I accidentally took 1200mg of ibuprofen and I don't know if it'll have any effect. I weigh around 180lbs
