I took an overdose yesterday of 64x200mg Ibuprofen. I took it around midday. I hadn’t eaten for more than 24 hours prior to taking them. I regretted it almost immediately, and called for help, and an ambulance took me to hospital. They didn’t take my bloods for another 3/4 hours after the i ingested them. My friend overdosed on 8000mg of ibuprofen last month. She's fine at the moment but wants to see a doctor here in North Carolina to get a check up because she knows that there could be long term damage. But she's worried that they would keep her on a 72 hour watch (something she has had before) for attempted suicide even though it was over a month ago. She is seeing a therapist now. So basically my question is, would they send her somewhere for a 72 hour watch under the circumstances?
