My mother was diagnosed pre-diabetic in July. Hence, appointed a nutritionist to take care of her diet. Her Hba1c was 5.8 back in July, which went up to 6.0 in Nov and back to 5.6 in December. Today, she just had her fasting sugar levels checked which was 107, Above the normal range. This in spite of the fact that she is taking fibre rich vegetarian food and done away with all fatty stuffs which contain oil and non veg. She is not taking sugar except for morning coffee. She is taking more green tea and black tea without sugar. Moreover, she goes for walk every day and works most of the time at home. Having flax seeds before meal. She is not having any of the symptoms as well. Could the reports be wrong any chance..?

I am 57yrs old. My blood sugar level is 200 fasting and 320 random.My doctor suggested it as type2 diabetes.I am now taking the allopathic medicine (1) dapagliflozin tab.(2) Saroglitazar tab.(3) sitagliptin phosphate tab.(4) Gemer 2.Now the fact is that the sugar maintain in level when I keep continued the medicine and as soon as I stop the level attain at high level.That sir, can assume your IME9 along with these medicines to get better in this regard for long time? Waiting for your suggestions

Ok so recently while at night I have this habit to not get up to go and urinate while I have the urge to do so , Sometimes I feel like I need to urinate but then automatically I tend to just ignore it (I am quite a lazy person). The thing is I understand that it is important to urinate and empty my bladder I think to do so but again as I said I just ignore in sleep. Sometimes  I feel like I did not get the message from my brain to go and urinate and empty my bladder or maybe I got it late. Like sometimes after a point where it cannot be controlled or the bladder needs to be compulsoryly get emptied , I get up and go and urinate. Basically how should I be completely conscious about the fact that I need to get up and go and urinate. Pls help.

So every year around this time during winter I get sick. It has happened for 4 years in a row the same sickness usually in varying intensity. A really bad sore throat, intense muscle aches, and throat burning/pain. Last year it went away and came back 3 times for 3 months and lasted about 3 weeks. I could live with it if it wasnt for the fact that its during swim season so my speeds take a hit, im in 3 choirs so i kind of need my throat to not be dying. I dont believe swimming has an effect.

Since 6 months i m drinking hot water lemon and honey bt i m getting weaker n weaker day by day i feel like i wud be fainting . few days ago it happened that i fainted down completely so my mom said not to drink the fat burning drink . as this drink sometimes results in burning of calcium n thus leads to weakness so i want to know is this true.i agree with the fact that water lemon nd honey is a best fat burning drink bt besides burning fat is it true that it is also resulting in weakness problm

Around 6 yrs ago my dad was diagnosed with the condition, had SMS jaipur neurologist take a look. They said that it had to be operated so we made up our mind to get it done but since it is lies exactly on a vein they said there could be some chances of complications as in like paralysis of the left foot so we returned from the O.T. untreated. He is a diabetic patient and has undergone 2 engioplasties. Blood pressure is always under control and insulin isn't required for sugar control. Untill now, the abcess is grown to some extent and it hurts if something touches it accidentally. There is no problem in walking or doing other stuff. In fact he walks two times a day for 6-10 km. Please tell me what to do.

I think I have extreme low self esteem, which is causing depression and troubles in all aspects of my life. My relationship is about to end, I cant focus on work, I am constantly burdening and disappointing my family. Despite the fact that on paper,I live an ideal life. My grades are high, I workout every single day, etc. I don't know why do I hate my self so much for the things I could not do and achieve. I have major phases of withdrawal from my environment, I am incapable of accepting help and I am desperately craving connection and love from the ones I love.

When I had a blood test and lipid profile,it was reported that my TSH was raised to 10.3 . Doctor increased the dose of medicine to 125 mg(earlier i was taking 100mg).After 25 days, I again underwent through routine examination in which my TSH level decreased to 0.70 to which doctor again advised me to decrease the dose of medicine to 75mg.Also, my TMT reported positive for inducible myocardial ischemia although my ECG and Echo cardiography reports are normal.Doctor has asked me to undergo angiogram due to positive TMT. So,I wanted to know if my positive TMT report is due to fluctuations in TSH level or not... Do I need to undergo angiogram as soon as possible? Can there be chances of any cardiac problems inspite of the fact that ECG and echo cardiography reports are normal?

Well it's not a regular problem So i doubt any major issue but still... Since past few months i am feeling shaky hands and also some weird feeling all day long.. Sometimes it last whole day and sometimes it doesn't.. And also that lately my dreams seems to be abnormal that i always wake up in between a dream because of some feeling like someone is keep on shouting my name.. And the intensity is such high that i can't sleep again then.. And there's nobody in my house except my mother so i am damned sure that there's nobody calling my name in reality.. Also the fact that i am not scare of living alone because of my working parents . Most of the time my body is vibrating inside and i always feel that i am going to faint anytime.. Other problem that i am facing is muscle weakness and stiffiness, pain in lower back of my head.. So my question is that what could possibly be happening to me ?

Hi Doctor, I have right earache and pressure on my entire face as if blood will gush out of my face any moment, heated face, hands, feet, as if I have fever but fever is not there. Light swelling on my face too especially cheek bones area. Along with right side earache right side headache is also there in fact mild headache is also there but right side more.. Overall pressure, heated palms, feet, swelling of face, headache and earache. There is also a history to this. I had a fight with my brother where I screamed with anger 6-7 times and the anger fit lasted for almost 1 hr..
