I have had symptoms of carpal tunnel in recent weeks. It was originally on my left arm and hand but I believe I have experienced it on my right hand as well. My symptoms were not very bad recently and I had started to notice less symptoms without any treatments, besides sleeping with arm casts on both arms. I went bowling 2 days ago and I used my right hand to play, now I feel pain in my wrist, particularly where the veins are, when I perform specific actions with my right hand. It is not a constant pain I feel without action, it is only felt when I do something such as laying my hand down flat and applying pressure, I feel a pain in my wrist. I also just noticed that when I apply pressure on my right forearm with my left hand finger, it hurts the most. This pain did in fact start the day after I bowled. So I just want some reassurance it is not my carpal tunnel worsening, and maybe some options on what I should do to heal this. (Whether or not it is carpal tunnel)

It has been over 4 months that i've been carrying this pain on my left heel. The first orthopedic i consulted diagnosed it as retrocalcaneal bursitis and prescribed ice pack along with Chymoral forte, and a pain killer. He suggested to have ultrasound therapy for 3 days. Even after the Ultrasound and medication there was very little relief. In fact, by being conscious of the pain, my walking posture changed and i developed pain in my shin. I consulted another orthopedic (since i couldn't get to meet the earlier doc) and he diagnosed this as insertional tendonitis and prescribed T-heal for 1 month and a pain killer when required. He also gave me a sheet with exercises to strengthen my Achilles tendon. Also, suggested to use silicon pads in my shoes, which i did. It's been over a month since, and though the pain is less severe, i am yet to recover completely. Meanwhile, i got the Uric Acid test done and it returned 6.2. Am i having some chronic condition?

Dating this guy for 9yrs now he had way too many ex gf's who dint stay in his past which got alot fights between us he hid the fact that he met his ex and got physical abusive when I confronted him. He's been broke most of these years finally when he got a good job he went ahead and started flirting with this girl in his office who said she likes him and he wanted to take a break from me after 7yrs saying we have issues instead of telling he wants to be with her so that flirting ended when he found out she was doing it for a bet no feelings etc and he asked me to talk to her and tell her he wasn't Interested and that I'm still his gf and he tells me he wasn't Intrested in her and I was making things up when I clearly read all their chats. He's been physically abusive in the past but now inspite of forgiving whatever happened in the past he's screaming and telling me I'm a horrible person who can't trust him we fight everyday and keep patching up only to break up again help!

Hello, I'm a high school student from Indonesia and I'm not sure if I'm depressed or just sad. I mean, I think I've been feeling down or worthless ever since I entered high school because of how people here are different. They're smart, talented and confident about it, unlike those in my junior high, and I guess knowing I'm not 'special' anymore makes me feel worthless. Suicidal thoughts come and go, but what really bothers me is the fact that my grades are slipping because I simply can't focus, thinking little activities to do are chores, getting easily overwhelmed, getting frustrated, lost interest in things I used to love doing, one minute im laughing and the next i'm back feeling down, and so on. I would like to see a Psychiatrist but i'm not sure if my problem is serious enough. I don't want to make this such a big deal, I thought if I pull myself together I'll be fine again but I don't think it's helping. So, do you think I should see a Psychiatrist?

How to answer such type of question - if u are not able to sleep then how cum u are able to sleep at 6am or 4 am, the truth z u don't want to move on, u have only one solution of every problem just to quit, every person has a problem in their life but they fight nd u.. u only depend on medicines of prescribed by psychiatrist, if Don't want to consult orthopaedic and u r saying u r facing pain and volini z not going to help then u love urself seeing in psychiatrist clinic keep doing, u dont want to be happy dats y u r in dis condition, the way u r fact z u r not going to be happy at any place in world, u r foolest dumbest person ever, u r nothing but worst, nd so on so on

I don't remember the last time I felt happy. I don't know why I just don't feel happy. It's not new, this has been going on since a long time...it's been like this since the time I was 13 or 14. I just feel that things aren't going right in my life. I also feel that things have never worked in my favour, or the way I wanted them to, but that's okay. I've just graduated this year and I've taken a year off to prepare for an exam which requires me to put my heart and soul into the preparation. I really want to study hard, but I just don't feel like studying. I just feel like sleeping all day. I've also put on weight. I don't really like most of the people, so, I don't have friends but I am sure that this is not the reason why I am unhappy. But let me also make it clear that I've never felt like killing myself. In fact, I want to live my life. Is it depression? I think I have mild depression.

Hi, I was diagnosed with tuberculosis two months back when I had high fever and extreme pain in the chest. I underwent x ray, diagnostic fluid aspiration and CT. I started on the medication and my fever subsided. My pain also reduced in intensity. However, I still have pain in every breath. Is this normal to have pain even after 2.5 months? I saw the doctor on my last monthly visit and he said it happens when fluid is drying up. But I just want to understand if this much pain is normal at this point during the treatment! Any idea when I can expect it to go? I am a fitness freak and have always eaten well and healthy and have never smoked in life. In fact I am malnourished in no way.  Is tb purely infection based? Any idea how I can prevent such diseases in future despite all that I had been doing already because this problem has been a major speed brake. Thanks

I have been experiencing floaters for past 2 years. Last month I got a severe attack of sinusitis with eye pain, headache and tooth pain. After having the prescribed tablets the pain subsided. But two days back I had another attack. I had vomitting, severe eye pain above and below the eye and headache. I want to know if floaters and sinusitis is related. I am extremely anxious about the floaters as the internet says it is a warning of retina detachment. Also this time after checking sinus area, doctor says there is a growth. And after having tablets for 7 days only we can scan and check the seriousness of it. I am extremely worried. I am a 35 year old healthy male. I haven't faced major health issues till now and have never got sinusitis before last month, in fact I rarely get a cold. I'm extremely worried. Kindly consult on treating the sinusitis and floater issue?

For 5 days or more now I've been finding it hard to sleep due to the fact that I can't breathe since my throats is filled with mucus and my nose is too, I have hardly eaten or drank anything bc it's so hard to get anything down my throat. When I do force something down and bare the pain, I puke moments later for example with my water, I puke a yellow water with floating pieces of mucus a bright yellow sometimes a very dark thick yellow. I've tried to cough up the mucus with much pain but it doesn't seem to want to go up. Also, I think I have post nasal drip bc when I blow my nose it doesn't go out of my nostril it goes into my throats meaning more mucus. I also can't stabilise my ears making it very hard to do anything. Just these past two days I've experienced diarrhoea bright yellow and not till last night I discovered blood. I would assume it's my period but I just got off it a week and half back. Please help it's so painful and I'm hungry

Hi Doctors, I'm a 25yr old male. I have high myopia since I was a child (-10.75 on the right eye and -10.50 on the left eye). Over the years it has actually reduced to the above mentioned numbers. I am looking to get my eyes corrected as I was a more confident and comfortable lifestyle as opposed to always worrying about the spare glasses. Today I went to the eye doctor and got scans and tests done. I was hoping to get eligibility on the new RELex Smile procedure. The tests showed that I do have sufficient corean thickness but they would only rectify upto -8 which would still leave me with -2.75 and -2.50. They suggested an alternative ICAL procedure and I am satisfied about the fact that it is reversible. The doctor said it's a better way for me as a high myopic patient and also said that the other procedures basically involve removing or burning off corneal tissue from the eye. I was happy about it and I am looking forward to booking the surgery dates. Do you have any opinions?
