Lost my child to this genetic disorder called Jeune Syndrome. We wish to plan another baby but we are too scared now. It took us long to recover. Kindly suggest how to go about planning another baby. How reliable is amniocentesis or any other test? P. S. We have one healthy child.

My mother is experiencing giddiness from today morning. She is not able to lift her head up since morning. As soon as she tries to get up she says she feels as if her head is spinning. Lying on bed makes her completely comfortable. Her B. P is normal and she is having no pain anywhere at all. She is non diabetic and normotensive.

My 10 month son suffering fever 100.9-103.7 since 2 days..doc said give meftal-p 3.5ml every 6 hours in case fever 103 or more..fever now 101.6 ..shud I give meftal same 3.5 ml or less..can I give Crocin otherwise..kindly reply asap

I did normal blood test . a)mean platelet volume :high -13.3 .Desired range is 6.8 to 10.9 b) red cell distribution width : high -14.6 and desired range is 11.6 to 14.0 But my platelets and RBC counts are normal Is it something to worry?P

My son is having fever (temp. 99 till 101 deg) since evening today. Gave crocin pediatrics drops 2 times ( 5 pm and 11 pm). Fever still not coming down. Can I start meftal p suspension? Water spunge requires?

My father is a B. P patient, he is taking his medication but I have introduced omega 3 and multivitamin supplements to him, because I was eating it and I told him to eat for a month and than drop it for 2 or 3 months and again start it. I don't know my suggestion is bad or good as per his age. I would be thankful to you, if anyone of you can give your insights on this. It would be a great help.

My daughter has been diagnosed with Typhoid. The report says WEEKLY TYPHOID. It's her 5th day and fever isn't coming down and is constantly around 102 going as high as 104 as well. Medicines given are ( Meftal P, Taxim OF, Oflox, Vizylac & Ondem). Please suggest if these are good to go or shall we consider changing the medicines. Sameer

My daughter 2 years old got fever from last 7 days. Blood reports done for dengue and malaria, urine test are normal. We are giving meftal P after 6 hours. But the temperature is getting down for few hours and then again it is rises maximum temperature 102.0 F. Can you please suggest what is the appropriate medicine.

My mom is suffering from viral fever. she is taking medicine prescribed by our doctor but he is out of station , i called him and explained the matter , he then prescribed two medicine . one of them is p-650 and other one isan antebiotics. though the temp is normal now but she has a lot of body pain , she can't stand for a long period of time , headache is also there. can anyone give any suggestion ?? i will bw grateful

Hi doctor, my son MD. Ashar hayat is suffereing from fever and i visited yesterday to ur clinic, actually i have given him Meftal P at 04:38 hrs today morning, so now i can give him crocin, because fever is there or i have to wait for 8 hours. please advise.
