Yesterday she is ok but she is having cough so we went to doctor & he prescribed Alex junior syrup for cough & cold.Incase of heavy fever he also suggest meftal P suspension.Can I give that medicine or what kindly let us know

My lil one is 2 Year old n weighs 10.5 kilo.
She is having high fever 101.8 n i have mefkind -p syrup, 5ml 8 hourly once..
but around 6th hour she is getting fever again.
Should i give any syrup in between ??

Baby boy 1.5 months on breast feed
