Sudden Rise In Urinary Albumin Level
The level of albumin in my recent UACR test came 0.6 mg/dl higher than the upper normal limit of the lab's reference range. However, the levels of urinary creatinine & acr came within the normal limits
The levels of albumin, creatinine & acr came well within normal limits in the previous tests done on last 3 month's
What might be the reason of such sudden spike in albumin level within a month ?
Tested from two different labs with the same urine as sample. So,no chance of reports being false positive
Does it indicate early kidney disease ?
Is it something serious & alarming ?

Abnormal Microalbumin But Normal ACR
Having persistent foamy urine since June 2025
Recent & previous serum creatinine, blood urea & potassium levels are all normal.USG (KUB) done on April & 24 hrs urine protein done on July are all normal
Urine ACR & all it's other parameters came normal on june, july & august
This time Microalbumin came 2.30 mg/dl (ref range 0-1.7),Urinary Creatinine came 142.10 mg/dl (ref range 22-328) & ACR came 16.19
Microalbumin level has crossed the upper normal limit of the reference range
There has been a significant rise in Microalbumin & ACR levels in comparision to the previous reports
Had adequate hydration (2.7 ltrs) & no protein diet the day before
What might be the reason of such abnormal elevation of Microalbumin ?
