I'm 24 years old I always like to be alone and stay alone. I'm very emotional person I cry alot and think alot. I don't know why whenever I feel sad I want to harm myself and I did cut my hand lightly 3 r 4 times. I'm unable to concentrate on my studies and feel very low.

Does psychiatrist and Phychiatry same department? plz help me a doctor with experience for alcohol withdraw?medicine and guide?

Hey! I am 18 yrs old boy. I think I have ADHD and it is interfering with my life very badly I am doing very bad academically. And there is not any psychiatrist in my city and I think practo will help me. If any psychiatrist is reading my message please tell me what can I do?

I have read that brain is very complex and till now only 60% of brain functions are discovered. But then how psychiatrist are able to treat mental disorders like OCD, schizophrenia etc? How this can be possible ??

Whenever i see people partying or going out with friends i feel sad and irritated that i dont have friends. Whenever i fight with my husband i think of killing myself and try to control. I have even few seconds away of doing so then i forcefully stopped myself but the thought was very strong. I take alot of time in letting thing go. I think of it alot even if the person apologies. Even right 10 minutes before, i had a fight with my husband and it was a such a small thing. I over reacted and then locked myself in room and was on the urge of killing myself but my husband came and asked me to open the door otherwise i would have died by now. Right now i am getting mixed thoughts whether should i kill myself and then i am trying to control myself but day by day its getting difficult to control. Please suggest medicine as i dont want to tell this to anybody

I am 45. I feel that I have adult ADHD. I want a doctor who can diagnose ADHD for adults. I am in Pune. So Pune doctor would be ideal but I am just as happy about remote diagnosis too as long as the doctor can diagnose it correctly.

Asking for my sister. She complains about issues of hearing voices saying things to her and she hears banging and glass breaking and it's like someone wants to harass her. Also says that someone can see through our house. She is absent minded and kind of disturbed. She is not a  very social person. But now since few months she is very disturbed. Can you please advise me on what's going on?

My treatment is going on for 6 months of Social anxiety disorder, OCD, depression,.        doctor prescribed me Propranolol 40mg, Fluoxetine 50mg, Risperidone 0.5mg, etizolam 0.5mg.   Initially doses are lower,.  there has been a lot of improvement, but still I get nervous, unable to interact well confidently with people (especially with relatives)

Having problem of anxiety related hyperhidrosis ( excessive aweating when anxious ) so i take opinion from paychatrist and he prescribed pexep cr 37.5 which i am taking till now from 2 months but it will increase my sweating problem even more but now he told to stop pexep and start placida ( franxit ) so is this medicine help me to stop excessive sweating when anxious in frokt of people and any streaafull situation ...i need ur opinion plz help me
