Hello doctor, Currently I'm on consultation with a psychiatrist for the past 2 weeks in a private hospital. It's not a mental hospital. Psychiatry is one of the departments in that multi speciality hospital. I'm not at all satisfied with the doctor and the way hospital staffs are treating a patient with psychic illness. The doctor is not listening to me. While I'm saying my problems, he is attending phone calls, looking somewhere else and within 2-3 minutes he gives the medical prescription. The staffs at the hospital are laughing in groups pointing at me. These kind of atmosphere triggers my LSE and other social anxiety regarding mental disorders. The psychiatrist at this hospital is not regular consultant. He just comes to the hospital weekly once. I think medicines alone can not cure my problems. I need counseling too. Now what should I do? Should I continue with the same doctor at the same hospital or should I visit a speciality Psychiatry hospitals? Please help me. Thank you.

My father deeply addicted to cigarette and alchohol. day by day he is loosing his mental ability. suddenly he gets angry and behave violently for some silly reason. he doesn't want to listen anything.

Dear Sir i suffer with anxiety and also panic attacks when a phone rings suddenly i will be panicked doctor prescribed me a medicine antidepressant Mitocent 30 mg . If take this medicine will there be any side effect in long run.How long do i need to take this medicine.Please help me how to overcome this problem .

Hello doctor, I'm suffering from psychic disorders. But psychiatrists are very costly. I don't have that much money. I can't afford to it. What should I do? I have decided to go to medical college hospitals where the doctor's fee is not more than Rs.100 . Now my doubt is. What is difference between doctors in specialty hospitals and doctors in medical college hospitals? Will there be any difference in treatments? What are the pros and cons of both these types of doctors? Please guide me. If I had asked anything wrong, please don't be harsh on me. I need a psychiatric help badly. Day to day my problems are increasing. Please help me regarding this. Thank you

Mood changes very quickly ,no limit of anger,within seconds makes issues,starts shouting ,crying,abusing,physical and verbal violence,even sometimes throwing things without thinking,demanding everything that she finds impossible,demand is fulfilled then starts another issue till we loose patience ,burst into tears or stats shouting,shows extreme hate towards family members,don t want to stay home ,most time stays outside home with friends,outside very mannered,well behaved sweet speaking girl.her father is an alcoholic ,suffered his violence,now he is not living with us,even then she misbehaves me and her elder sister,fed up ,can say terrorized by her violence want to get rid of it ,she,don t want to visit psychetrist as she says you want to say i am mad.how can i control her violence and is there any medicine to control anger ?

Hi I am just sucked from my life. I always try to concentrate my mind in present but never able to do that. Always feel sorry for myself. Always feel unhappy in my life. Always in a unknown fear of worthless things. Just want to know am i suffering from Depression or Hypothyroid because both diseases symptoms are almost same. So whom to contact Psychiatrist or a Thyroid doctor.

I couldn't get rid of my car driving fear inspite of couple of training sessions I took, still I feel anxiety and not confident in driving a car. But I ride my 2wheeler without any problem. Please suggest how to solve my issue.

My anxiety attacks have suddenly become more prominent ; occurring at least once in 4-5 days. I have not switched to any new medication and have been taking 20mg of nexito once a day and Lonazep 0.5mg as SOS. I have started sleeping too much and my disconnected myself from friends and family as I don't want to take the effort of going out anymore. I also have crying spells and feel lethargic and light headed throughout the day. Why is this happening?

I m student,i feel very low whole day...dun wanna any work...how to be active whole day...will u suggest me some positive activity
