Doctor, I am here because I am very concerned about extreme shifts in mood and behavior. She is 56 years old. ​She is going through very fast, intense cycles that change every 3 to 4 days. ​Phase 1 (Lasts 3-4 days): She becomes unusually happy and has an abnormal amount of energy. She talks constantly and very fast about completely unnecessary things. This isn't her normal personality. ​Phase 2 (Lasts 3-4 days): Then, almost abruptly, her mood flips. She becomes intensely angry and highly irritable. She speaks very rudely to everyone around her. During this time, she completely withdraws and refuses to do any of her normal daily work or tasks. ​This 3-to-4-day cycle keeps repeating. It is severely affecting her daily functioning and her relationships with everyone.

I have multi-month history of severe psychological and physiological distress. Psychological symptoms include severe anxiety, chronic overthinking, social withdrawal, profound ahedonia, distorted self-perception, and recurrent suicidal ideation with feelings of worthlessness. These are accompanied by significant somatic manifestations, including chronic insomnia and persistent chest pain. Furthermore, the patient reports severe pelvic pain and debilitating dysmenorrhea.

I know Guanfacine er is not Approved in india. I need special permission to import. My question 1.can Indian psychiatrist prescribe Guanfacine er? If not. 2.can usa psychiatrist online prescribe Guanfacine er?

I recently consulted a psychiatrist because I have been struggling with prolonged grief after a breakup that happened 7–8 months ago. Since then, I have been experiencing depression, loneliness, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, difficulty concentrating, lack of motivation, and occasional suicidal thoughts. I was prescribed Paroxetine, Propranolol, Clonazepam (as needed), and Lithium 150 mg. While I understand the purpose of the other medicines, I am feeling concerned and fearful about taking Lithium 150 mg because of its potential side effects. I would appreciate a second opinion on whether Lithium is necessary in my case and whether its benefits outweigh the risks.

I am using meloset 3mg medicine, is it a good Brand? I am worrying about quality, is it a well known brand or not?

I am already on opiprol 100 mg .25 clonotril and 1 mg Loranza at bed time for anxiety and insomnia which arose in 2023 due to pregabalin withdrawal. However I had recovered completely and was on the verge of completely tapering my medicines. One day I took sysron n for my Pmos only for one day and the next day onwards I started facing regular tension type headaches again. I was compelled and put on pregabalin 50 for 10 days. My headaches stopped but I had to stop the medicine because of over sedation. Gradually after pregabalin discontinuation I started facing delayed sleep, hyperarousal & severe leg movement during night time. Currently I am only on n opiprol 50 mg .25 clonotril and 1 mg Loranza. But immediately after I take these medicines at night I become more energetic and more active instead of calming down and my leg movement becomes worse. Why is it so????? And I also feel like the medication is pushing away my sleep further more till morning. What should be done.

I would like to understand myself better and be more expressive. Can you help me with therapy? Is it included in our corporate plan or what would be the charges? Offline or online.
