My father is 58. He is suffering from fever with chills since last 1 week. He is also having a little pain in his side which occurred since yesterday. He is doubting he is again having stones(he had in the past). He is peeing alot when fever comes. Breathing problem is also present while fever is there.

Hi, my father is having long diabetes history. He is now 72 years. Suddenly he is having high creatinine level 3.4. I want to visit a doctor immediately. Can anyone suggest whom to consults Nephrologist or Urologist. I have a known and good Urologist but don't know whether he can help in this situation. Please confirm.
