Iam suffering with a 6mm kidney stone at left side Can I need operation or it pass away with urine 6mm calorcli in midcrlyx Left recoal calcols

I have 6 mm stone in my left side kidney. What to do in next step pls suggest me. My son is having pain in his genital organ while urinating and wanted pee frequently. He is 2y7months now. Having slight cold and cough also.
