Hi Have been diagnosed with pcod 4 to 5 yrs back I was given Diane 35 and insulin pills Which I dint continue for long Have been struggling with weight gain despite of eating very healthy No fried no rice no Patato etc I also have very bad acne problem I recently visited a gynec and was put on metformin 250 3 times a day Thyrowell 25 morning I keep feeling very lethargic and don't know what to do about the condition. Not even sure if I should start with thyroid pills as my Tsh is 6.5 All drs have different opinions My MD told me I should not start before it reached 8 But I m also struggling with weight and lethargy Very confused on what to do

I m taking thyronorm 50 mg...my tsh I'd still 7.7 . Should I reevaluate my dose. Have thyroid since Dec 2015

My father who is 82 yrs had low sugar attacks several times. He is diabetic for last 50 years. Last night he had another low sugar attack and his sugar level was 64. I gave him some sweet drinks and his sugar shot up to 84. I want to know what all test should be done for him.

My TSH is 7.8 whereas T3 and T4 is in range...what medications should I take ... I missed my menopause for 2 months for which I started taking a drug and this month I got my dates...one prior blood test showed 5.7 TSH that was a month ago...Now it is 7.8... I m IDDM patient for past 15 yrs. Recently i diabetes has become difficult to manage. I was on humalog plain 3 times & Tresiba at night, but my sugar was always howering over 300. My doc prescribed ryzodeg but still not good control. Strange pattern of sugar levels noticed. If i measure fasting at 6 am it is around 90 but if i measure at 9 am the sugar is around 180
