PCOD THYRIOD INSULIN
Hi Have been diagnosed with pcod 4 to 5 yrs back I was given Diane 35 and insulin pills Which I dint continue for long Have been struggling with weight gain despite of eating very healthy No fried no rice no Patato etc I also have very bad acne problem I recently visited a gynec and was put on metformin 250 3 times a day Thyrowell 25 morning I keep feeling very lethargic and don't know what to do about the condition. Not even sure if I should start with thyroid pills as my Tsh is 6.5 All drs have different opinions My MD told me I should not start before it reached 8 But I m also struggling with weight and lethargy Very confused on what to do

Hi......, Consider dietary changes. Low-fat, high-carbohydrate diets may increase insulin levels, so you may want to consider a low-carbohydrate diet ..... choose complex carbohydrates, which are high in fiber. The more fiber in a food, the more slowly it's digested and the more slowly your blood sugar levels rise.... Consult Physician they will do the needful...
